What a great day in Huntertown! 🍂

Today we had an incredible team of 17 volunteers out knocking doors, and together we reached hundreds of homes across Huntertown.

The weather couldn't have been better, but what really made the day was the conversations. People were engaged, paying attention, and ready to have a say in the future of their town.

I especially enjoyed meeting several 19 year olds who are planning to vote for the very first time this November. There's something exciting about talking with a new voter and seeing them realize that they have a voice in what happens in their community.

And if you've been following my canvassing updates, today's biggest concerns probably won't surprise you: water and growth. Those two issues continue to come up more than anything else. Residents understand that Huntertown is growing, but they want to know that we're planning ahead, that our infrastructure can keep up, and that existing residents aren't left carrying the burden.

Most of all, I'm incredibly grateful to the 17 people who gave up part of a beautiful Saturday to walk neighborhoods and talk with their fellow residents.

I've knocked on a lot of doors by myself during this campaign, but today was a great reminder that many hands really do make light work.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered and everyone who opened their door and talked with us today! 🏡👟🗳️

The Journal Gazette asked candidates to respond to important questions about our races.

I responded. My opponent didn't.
