ChocZero
We make tasty sweets with ZERO SUGAR and ADDED FIBER. Not just chocolate anymore: cookies, candies, and more! Posts are by Rhea, our tastemaker π
When we started ChocZero in late 2016, we had one goal: to make chocolate healthy again. We set out with a mission to create a chocolate that met our premium chocolate standards without any refined sugar or artificial sweeteners. By replacing sugar with all natural monk fruit and focusing on high quality, GMO free ingredients we were able to create an artisanal chocolate bar without any added suga

Mystery flavors are made from leftovers...usually π
Yeah, I know. It's weird. But a lot of mystery candy flavors are made by mixing flavors from a production line.
So, for example, let's say a company normally makes strawberry. Rather than completely clean the machine before the next flavor, they might run orange next--then the first few batches of candy will be a strawberry-orange delight, which can be sold as a mystery flavor.
It helps prevent waste for the company and saves money. It's fun, too.
However, it also means it's inconsistent π« A fruit chew from earlier in the run will be more strawberry, while one from later will be more orange.
For our Halloween fruit chews, I knew I wanted to make a mystery flavor because I love a good trick AND treat!
But I had a very specific desire for ours. I wanted a surprise, but I also really wanted a special new flavor. A classic flavor. Just one that's fun for everyone and one folks had been asking for over the past few years.
So for us, we made it as an entirely new flavor run. Not a mix or anything.
And it's coming toward the end of the month!
Last year, we had a production issue: our packaging was late, and the conveyor belt on our candy machine--which makes our candy bars, caramels, and fruit chews--broke down, leading us to miss our deadline.
This year, they're already snug as a bug, hunkered down in our factory warehouse...waiting to haunt ya once we release the Fall collection at the end of August π

Easy keto lemon truffles π Want a bite that tastes like lemon cheesecake? It sounds like something only W***y Wonka could do, but this is an easy recipe you can make in your own kitchen! We add our crushed lemon Dunkies to a cream cheese mixture, let that set in the freezer, and then cover them in white chocolate. It creates a truffle with a yummy cheesecake interior and a buttery white chocolate shell.
I also like adding a little lemon zest and extra crushed cookies to the top of the truffles for decoration. But, that's only if you're feeling fancy! Honestly, this recipe is great for meal prepping at the beginning of the week and keeping them in the fridge for a nightly dessert.
Lemon Dunkies Truffles
1 box Lemon Dunkies, crushed
6 oz cream cheese
2 tsp lemon extract
Zest of 1 lemon
2 Β½ c keto white chocolate chips
1 tsp coconut oil
Extra Dunkies crumbs & lemon zest for topping
Add Dunkies to a food processor or blender, and pulse until fine and crumbly. Stir in softened cream cheese, lemon extract, & lemon zest and mix to combine until you get a soft mixture. Roll about 25 equally sized balls and place on a parchment lined sheet and freeze for about 1 hour. Melt the chocolate chips and oil in the microwave in 25 second increments, stirring until smooth and combined. Remove truffle balls from freezer and dip each ball into the melted white chocolate. Use a fork to roll the ball around to coat, then gently tap to shake off excess chocolate. Place truffles back on parchment lined sheet. Top with extra crushed cookies and zest, if desired. Place in fridge to chill for about 20 minutes before serving. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
Makes about 25 servings

Sugar Free White Chocolate Frappuccino π§ Nothing hits quite like a cold frap on a hot summer day. Personally, I'm waiting for pumpkin spice season to come rolling in, but this drink is a great substitute... especially with how hot it's been lately! If you got one of these at your local coffee shop, it would be full of enough sugar to make your head spin. That's why we like this no added sugar version where you can use whatever milk you want and it will keep you energized π
If you're more of a caramel fan, just swap in our keto caramel sauce! This is a great base recipe for any frap you want to make. PS- this recipe makes two servings! That means you can give the extra to your bestie.
White Chocolate Frappuccino
Β½ c keto white chocolate sauce from ChocZero
4 shots espresso
1 c milk of choice
2 c ice
ΒΌ tsp xanthan gum (this is to give it a creamy texture, can skip if desired)
Topping:
Keto white chocolate chips from ChocZero
Sugar free whipped cream
In a glass, add the white chocolate sauce and pour the espresso over the top, stirring until combined. Add mixture to a blender with all other ingredients and blend until icy and combined. Pour into 2 glasses. Top with whipped cream, white chocolate chips, and white chocolate sauce drizzle if desired.
Makes 2 servings

Do cookies taste better if they're in a fun shape? π€ When it comes to the animal crackers, I say paws-itively! We made these to have a little fun, but when we realized how much you loved them, it got us thinking...
What other cute shapes would you like to see? What kind of flavors? We loved getting creative with the design of these (I think the rhino is underrated), so we want to do it again! Maybe something you can catch around the holiday season? π

Keto Cookies & Creme Ice Cream Sandwich πThis recipe is for anyone that ever wanted a giant cookie to themselves (and also loves ice cream like we do). We crush our gluten free cookies and mix them into a waffle batter to create the outside of this sandwich. Then, grab your favorite keto ice cream for the middle and you've got a comically large Dunkie dessert to enjoy.
You know what I love about this recipe? We snuck in some protein powder! It helps make your dessert more satisfying, especially when paired with the prebiotic fiber from our cookies.
Dunkies Ice Cream Sandwich
β
c chocolate protein powder
2 tbsp almond flour
2 tbsp black cocoa powder
1 tbsp granulated sweetener
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
2-4 tbsp almond milk
2 Dunkies cookies, crushed
Sugar free vanilla ice cream
Add all dry ingredients to a bowl except crushed Dunkies and mix until combined. In a separate bowl, whisk eggs. Then mix into dry ingredients. Add almond milk 1 tbsp at a time until consistency is smooth. Stir in crushed Dunkies. Heat up mini waffle maker, pour batter in and cook for about 2 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter. Once all waffles are done, spread SF vanilla ice cream (or ice cream of choice) onto 4 waffles, then top with remaining 4 waffles. Place in freezer to firm up.

You're going to love these keto caramel cheesecake bars π Just writing out those words makes my tummy rumble! This is a creamy and sweet treat that requires absolutely no baking. We are not about turning the oven on in this heat, okay! We make these decadent squares of awesome with our go-to cheesecake crust (yes, I love crushing the cookies), cheesecake filling, and then we top it off with our keto caramel sauce. I also like sprinkling a little sea salt on top, but mostly because it makes me feel fancy π€
Besides being delicious and easy, these things are super pretty! We don't simply toss the caramel sauce on top and call it a day. Oh, no, no, no. If you drizzle the caramel and then use a skewer or a knife to create a swirl design, it creates a work of art you can eat!
No Bake Caramel Cheesecake Bars
Crust
1 Β½ c gluten free butter cookies, crushed
5 tbsp butter
Cheesecake
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
Β½ c keto caramel sauce
1 c heavy cream
Β½ c sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping
ΒΌ c keto caramel sauce
Sea salt
Mix together crust ingredients well until combined and moistened. Press crust mixture into a greased 8 inch pan.
Make cheesecake filling. Beat heavy cream in a cold bowl until stiff peaks form, set aside. Add remaining ingredients into a bowl and mix until combined. Fold the whipped cream mixture into the cream cheese mixture, folding gently to avoid deflating the filling. Pour into pan over the crust and use a spatula to smooth out. Add ΒΌ c caramel sauce to a piping bag and drizzle over the top. Use a wooden skewer or knife to lightly swirl the caramel into the cheesecake. Sprinkle the top with sea salt. Refrigerate at least 6 hours, for best results overnight.
