What We Do -
Our greatest honor is when clients ask us to paint a family heirloom or a piece they found in it's "ugly" state but knew we could make it perfect for their space. Some pieces we've painted were already gorgeous, but just the wrong style for their home or personal taste. Our job with all custom pieces is to make your vision a reality. What a thrill when a custom client or buyer of one of our unique pieces come to pick up their furniture and they're giddy with excitement. It makes all the work, sweat and yes, sometimes blood (because we are clumsy and committed to our craft), so worth it. Who We Are -
Two Old Souls is owned by Michelle Bell and Virginia Aiello. We are friends who share a love for all things old, dusty, rusty and unique. We bonded over our love for "paint therapy,"
When naming our business, we went through several unsuccessful ideas. When Virginia thought of the name Two Old Souls, she knew that was the winner and immediately secured the Etsy page before even floating it by Michelle. Michelle LOVED the name and remarked that she had always been called an old soul. Virginia had had the same experience, which is why it came to mind. What made you choose to refinish furniture? We both find it therapeutic to take a piece of furniture that is dated, ugly, or just the wrong style, and transform it into something people are proud to have in their homes. We do the same in our own homes, but it's socially unacceptable to have 12 dressers of every color of the rainbow in a single home, so- we offer them up for sale.

My fellow vendor AE Country Crafts & Gifts at Collected Treasures makes these fantastic hand-poured wax melts, and I had to grab a few for fall.
The apple, the pumpkin… and this little ghost whose face is absolutely PERFECT for a wax melt that’s about to be melted. 😂👻

A little vintage beauty for your feed… ✨
This gorgeous vintage gemstone flower arrangement just has so much character. Delicate carved stone petals and leaves, warm amber tones mixed with soft milky whites, tiny beaded centers, and a lovely green stone planter — it’s like a forever bouquet with an old-world feel. 🤎
Perfect tucked onto a bookshelf, dresser, side table, or mixed into a collected vignette. I especially love the natural variation in all of the stones — no two blossoms are quite alike.

A little beauty with a secret… ✨
This gorgeous wood jewelry armoire looks like a classic full-length mirror from the outside, but open the door and there’s an entire jewelry wardrobe tucked inside — hooks for necklaces, rows for earrings, ring storage and plenty of room for all those little treasures we somehow keep collecting. 🤎
I love the warm wood, the curved top, and the fact that it gives you storage without looking like storage.
