🐾🐾 FOSTER NEEDED!!! 🐾🐾

Trixie was dumped when she was just 5 months old. She has been living outside in an outdoor pen for the last 3 months. Her finder is worried about her living outside when the weather gets colder. She needs a foster. Dixie loves to play with water and is good with other dogs!

Mickey is a 13-week-old Terrier mix boy (born mid-June 2026) with a sweet and playful spirit that's just beginning to shine. He spent his early weeks living under a porch with no human interaction, so he comes to us a little timid at first — but here's the wonderful part: he warms up quickly once he realizes he's safe and loved. Watching Mickey bloom as he discovers what it means to have a family and a home is truly special. This gentle boy is very sweet and playful, and he's already showing so much personality and affection once he settles in. He gets along great with other dogs, kids, and cats, making him a wonderful addition to almost any family. He would do best in a home with older, respectful children ages 8 and up. He's currently working on potty training, so he'll need patient, consistent guidance — but he's eager to learn and eager to please. He is around 8 lbs and will be medium sized when full grown. Mickey is looking for a patient, loving family who understands that building trust takes time and who will celebrate every small milestone as he grows. Ziggy and Stardust’s owner sadly passed away recently and her dying wish for them to be able to stay together in a loving home.

Ziggy is 8 years old and Stardust is 13 years old. They are both Havanese. They have always been together and would do best in a home with no other dogs and no kids.

A family member is in town and caring for them until 10/10 but they MUST have a foster or foster to adopt by then!

Looking for a loyal companion with a heart full of love and a playful spirit? Buddy is always ready for an adventure, whether it's a walk in the park, playtime with a dog pal, a car ride, or simply curling up beside you after a fun-filled day.
Buddy enjoys being with people and other pups. He loves lounging in the grass and watching birds flying above after doing some zoomies (running) in his foster’s fenced-in yard. Buddy is a goofy guy that looks for a toy/bone to bring outside with him. He’s working on walking on a leash and not jumping when he meets people. He's getting accustomed to neighborhood sounds; however, he still isn't a fan of lawnmowers. Buddy is house trained and crate trained. In the evening, he curls up next to or on his foster Mom’s lap.
Buddy is dog/cat friendly. He would do best in a household with older respectful kids, if any and a secure fenced-in yard. Buddy is a possible Jack Russell Terrier mix and about 1-1/2 years old.

FACTS about Pit Bulls

❤️ They are loyal and affectionate.

❤️ They are people pleasers and highly trainable.

❤️ According to the American Temperament Test Society’s testing in 2023, pit bulls pass the temperament test 87% of the time, ranking higher than 121 other breeds

❤️ Pit Bull are the #1 most euthanized breed in the US, due to the stigma against them.

❤️ President Woodrow Wilson and Teddy Roosevelt owned Pit Bull terriers.

MYTHS about Pit Bulls

💔 Pit Bull have locking jaws. ➡️ Pit bull’s jaws are no different than any other dog.

💔 Some dog breeds are more dangerous than others. ➡️ According to a 2022 study published in Science, “dog breed is generally a poor predictor of individual behavior and should not be used to inform decisions relating to selection of a pet dog.”

💔 Pit Bull legislation keeps people safe. ➡️ The CDC strongly opposes breed specific restrictions after analyzing dog bites and attacks. Breed restrictions only increase a false stigma.

Happy is a 1.5-year-old 35 # pocket pittie, bulldog, boxer, and Boston terrier mix, if I had to guess. If you looked up Happy's name in the dictionary, it would describe her as a friendly, loyal companion. She has not met anyone that she doesn't like: Adults? Loves them! Seniors? Loves them! Kids? Loves them too! She will show everyone how happy she is by doing a full-body wiggle to greet you! We do recommend kids 8+ who can understand that she may startle more easily when she is sleeping because she is deaf.

Happy is potty trained and crate trained. She was born deaf, but she knows 8 hand commands, including sit, stay, lay, turn, touch, no, place, etc. Her foster is more than happy to teach you the commands for a seamless transition into your home!

Happy is pretty low energy for her age. She just needs a yard to lay in or sniff around in or short walks if you don't have a fenced yard. She likes leisurely walks, sniffing everything possible. It tires her out too! She never pulls and is certainly not a speedy walker. If you want to go on a longer walk, Happy is thrilled being carried in a backpack carrier too! Happy loves being out in the yard when the weather is nice: chasing bugs, shadows of birds flying overhead, and just soaking up the sun.

Hazel is a sweet, well behaved girl. She is good with larger dogs but she is a little too interested in small dogs and we are guessing cats too.
