Hey guys! We got a golden ticket to the World Food Championships in Indianapolis next month :)

That was quite the experience! I had to keep my head down a lot because having an audience gave me a bit of nerves. And when I thought I had a handle on my nerves, when it came to plating I had trouble keeping my hands steady from the adrenaline 😅 This experience has been really fun though and I have met so many amazing chefs, vendors, businesses, etc through this. I was telling my husband earlier, even if we don't place, the people we have met during this process has made it all worth it for me. (That and being able to show my kids who were in the audience, we can do hard, scary things, push ourselves, and chase our dreams!)
