In moments like these, community matters most. A devastating house fire has left one of our GCYA families with the difficult task of starting over, but together, we can help restore hope. Every donation: whether clothing, shoes, toiletries, diapers, gift cards, or financial support can make a meaningful difference for this family during this heartbreaking time.

Please see the attached flyer for all sizes of clothing requested - or options for financial tokens of love. Special note: Donations may be dropped off at Georgetown Nutrition - 102 King Street.

We ask everyone to keep this family lifted in prayer and to give whatever you can. No act of kindness is too small when a family is rebuilding their lives from the ground up. Thank you for showing the power of love, compassion and community support. 💙

“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” -2 Corinthians 9:7 NIV

“It’s more than sports — it’s family.”

Congratulations to not only an outstanding coach but woman as well!! This is very well deserved!! We love you Coach Sumpter! 💙🤍🎉🎊

Congratulations Coach Baril on being named a finalist for GCSD teacher of the year!!! 🎉🎊

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Love Chapel Deliverance Center for welcoming us into your service today. 💛

Your hospitality, encouragement, and genuine love mean more than words can express. We are truly grateful for the support you continue to pour into us and our girls.

Most of all, we thank God for the powerful impact your ministry brings to the community. May He continue to bless and enlarge your territory as you serve with such faithfulness and heart. 🙏✨

From the desk of Coach Currence:

As we close the chapter on this season, I couldn’t be more proud of our Lady Bulldogs Varsity. The growth, the resilience, the fight — it showed every single night.

Last minute rankings tell the story of the work these young ladies put in:

🏀 Finished 19 out of 33 in 3A
🏀 Finished 178 out of 285 overall

Last year?
➡️ 32 out of 33 in 3A
➡️ 241 out of 286 overall

That kind of jump doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of commitment, accountability, long practices, tough losses, big wins, and a team that chose to believe in each other.

To our seniors — thank you. Your leadership, heart, and dedication helped lay a new foundation. You will truly be missed more than you know. The impact you’ve left on this program will carry on long after this season.

This was more than just a season — it was progress, pride, and proof of what’s coming.

The standard has been raised. The culture is growing. And we’re just getting started.
