Georgetown Neighborhood Food Project

We had a GREAT response to our call to support Annunciation Maternity Home during the pickup / distribution event on Saturday September 19, 2026! At the same time, we were able to distribute almost 3,000 pounds of food to the SU Pirate Pantry, Helping Hands of Georgetown, TX , Carver Center for Families , Neighbors Serving Neighbors , Jubilee Food Pantry (at HeadStart Georgetown), The Caring Place , and Stonehaven Resident Council Pantry.

We are accepting a special collection for Annunciation Maternity Home, the only maternity home in our area providing support and services for unplanned pregnancies. As a non-profit, they are always open to donations of supplies and finances Annunciation Maternity Home
Needs in our community's pantries include providing for Back to School, both at the grade school level and the university level.
Our local collegiate campus - Southwestern University - may not have a large student body but there are students who find themselves coming up short from time to time. Additionally, being one of the major employers in Georgetown, there are some staff in low-paying roles that may not provide quite enough to cover food needs for their household each week. The Pirate Pantry is open to all who are part of the Southwestern campus community.

PICKUP DAY is Saturday September 19th!
FOOD DONORS have your green bag on your porch by 9am so your NEIGHBORHOOD COORDINATOR can pick it up and deliver to our sorting team at 1322 E University Ave
SORTING VOLUNTEERS can arrive as early as 9am, and we will be there until 11:30.
PARTNER PANTRIES will pick food up on their scheduled time.
