GP Rides Airport and Event Transportation

The Difference Between a Driver and a Dedicated Fleet 🚗✨

In the communities of Grosse Pointe and Saint Clair Shores, professional integrity, hard work, and tangible results matter. 🤝 I'm Julie, the founder and driving force behind GP Rides. I built this company from the ground up, applying a rigorous business mindset and leveraging my academic background (Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Marketing and Finance), several patents, and recognition as a two-time "Best of Michigan Business" award winner.

My goal is simple: to provide our close-knit community with reliable transportation service, grounded in meticulous logistics, honesty, and transparent business practices and pricing. 📈📋

We built GP Rides on the belief that our neighbors deserve a premium, highly structured service at a fair and honest price. 💡 We aren't an impersonal luxury corporate service costing $150 a trip, but we are also not a micro-business limited to just one or two drivers and a couple of vehicles.

True professional operations require real systems—not just a cell phone number and a social media post. 📱❌ The objective risk of relying on a skeleton fleet is clear: when available drivers and vehicles are limited, a single schedule conflict, a delayed flight, a mechanical issue, or a traffic delay immediately results in a missed departure or a stressful waiting game at flight arrivals. A small group of just a few drivers physically cannot provide a realistic safety net. 🛑⏰

The Value of Undivided Executive Focus: 🎯 We believe that managing critical travel logistics requires an organization's absolute, undivided focus. Your airport transit shouldn't be treated as a casual secondary sideline or bundled with neighborhood odd jobs. When your schedule, your business meetings, and your family's safety on the highway are on the line, you deserve an established firm whose entire infrastructure, safety protocols, and daily operations are dedicated 100% to professional passenger transportation.

GP Rides operates as a true community network— neighbors driving neighbors —supported by a coordinated fleet of 12 local professional drivers and a real-time flight tracking system. 🌐✈️ We use reliable, spacious, clean, and safe vehicles suited to handle Michigan roads and weather.

With the ongoing multi-year I-94 construction, navigating travel anxiety has become a real issue. 🚧🚗 This is where our coordinated fleet shines: our 12 drivers don't just rely on basic GPS; we have mastered proven alternative routes and hidden airport entry points that most operators aren't even aware of, keeping your schedule perfectly on time. 🧭🗺️

Because we are a fully structured company, we don't make excuses, and we will never leave you stranded, tell you to "just call an Uber," or pass your booking off to un-vetted drivers. 🙅‍♀️🚙 Every single trip is handled by a professional, courteous driver from our official team. If an unexpected event arises, our dedicated operations center will immediately deploy a backup driver from our team before you even feel the stress.🛡️❤️

We manage your peace of mind through our own secure, fully functional booking platform at a reasonable, fixed rate with no hidden charges ( $65 GP / $75 SCS to DTW ). If you land at 2:00 PM, or 2:00 AM, on a Monday or a Holiday, the price is exactly the same! 🕒💰

When punctuality and safety are paramount, our community chooses the stability and logistical redundancy of a solid company, not the uncertainty of a solo or small group of drivers. Choose the Company who designed the original standard for reliability, safety, affordability, and transparency. 🏆🔒

👇 To our wonderful community & clients: If you have ridden with us before, we would love to hear from you! Whether we saved your flight by navigating around the I-94 construction chaos, picked you up for a smooth 4:30 AM airport run, or simply gave you peace of mind on your travels, please drop a quick comment below to share your experience with your neighbors! Your support and words mean the world to our team. 💬💙🚘

Hi Neighbors! 👋

As we head into a busy travel season, we want to say a massive THANK YOU to our incredible community here in Grosse Pointe, Saint Clair Shores, and Harrison Twp.

Because of your amazing support, word-of-mouth recommendations, and hundreds of 5-star reviews, GP Rides has officially grown! While we are expanding our trusted "Neighbors Driving Neighbors" model to new areas in Michigan, our heart and our primary fleet remain right here on our home turf.

We know how stressful scheduling an early morning airport run to DTW can be—especially when standard apps hit you with unexpected surge pricing or leave you stranded waiting for a driver who is 25 minutes away in Detroit.

Our team of eleven drivers are proud to keep serving our local community with the absolute highest level of care:

⏰ Zero Late-Night or Early-Bird Upcharges: Need a 4:00 AM pickup for a business trip or family vacation? Unlike traditional car services that tack on a $20 "midnight-to-4AM" fee, our rates stay exactly the same 24/7.

📅 Zero Holiday Surcharges: Traveling for major holidays or busy long weekends? We don't believe in penalizing you with an extra $25 holiday fee. Your price is flat and transparent.

✈️ Live Flight Tracking: Delayed on the tarmac or landing early? We actively track your return flight live. Your driver adapts automatically and waits at the curb the exact second you step out with your bags—at no extra cost.

👶 Family-First Care: We offer complimentary car seats and booster seats securely installed for your little ones, plus hands-on luggage assistance from your front door straight to the terminal curbside.

Thank you for choosing local, trusting your neighbors, and letting us handle the keys. 🚘✈️

⭐Have you ridden with us before? Our drivers are your actual neighbors, and they work incredibly hard to ensure you have a completely stress-free trip. If you've had a great experience, please drop a comment below to give a quick shout-out to your favorite driver!

Word-of-mouth is how our small business grows, and your local recommendations help other families find a ride service they can truly rely on. Your support means the world to our entire team! 🙏

Delayed Flight? Late Landing? Relax, Your Flat Rate Stays Locked. ✈️🔒

Travel schedules rarely go exactly according to plan. If your flight gets delayed at the gate and pushes your landing past midnight or into the early morning hours, the very last thing you want to face at baggage claim is a surprise $20 upcharge or a canceled ride.

At GP Rides, we believe that a deal is a deal. We track your flight path in real-time, and our upfront neighborhood flat rates are completely protected from the clock.

Our standard flat rates mean exactly what they say:

📍 Grosse Pointe (All): $65 flat to/from DTW
📍 Saint Clair Shores: $75 flat to/from DTW

✨ The GP Rides Reliability Standard:

No Time-of-Day Premiums: Land at 2:00 PM or 2:00 AM—your rate never changes.

Real-Time Flight Tracking: We monitor your delays automatically. If your flight is late, we adjust our schedule so your neighborhood driver is curbside the moment you step out.

No Holiday Surcharges: Your holiday travel plans shouldn't come with a premium penalty.

On-the-Ground Backup: Our local branch features a dedicated team of 10 professional drivers living directly in our community, ensuring seamless coverage even during peak travel shifts.

Let us handle the logistics so you can focus on the journey.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗣 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀!✨

Unmatched Reliability and Professionalism.

Hi neighbors, I’m Julie, the owner and operational engine behind 𝗚𝗣 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀.

Grosse Pointe and Saint Clair Shores are unique communities that appreciate hard work, professional integrity, and real accountability. When I stepped in to fully build and structuralize this company, my goal was simple: to use my background as a lifelong entrepreneur to give our neighborhoods a service they could truly count on.

With an undergraduate and graduate degree in business (Marketing and Finance), a few patents, and having been honored as a 2-time recipient of the Best of MichBusiness Award, I’ve spent my career learning how to build and scale businesses the right way—with strong systems, reliable logistics, and honest practices.

To me, a dependable transportation service can’t be run like a casual hobby. It requires structure. That’s why I personally launched our very first marketing campaigns, designed our official website, and built our original online booking form from scratch 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹.

🗲 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 "𝗢𝗻𝗲-𝗖𝗮𝗿" 𝗚𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲: Imagine it’s 4:30 AM. Your bags are packed, your flight leaves in two hours, and you are standing by your front door watching the minutes tick away. You call your driver, but it goes straight to voicemail. If you hire a solo operator or an unstructured "A-Few-Drivers side hustle," their flat tire, morning oversleep, or traffic delay becomes your missed flight and ruined vacation or missed business meeting. They simply have no backup plan.

We believe you deserve better than that anxiety. 𝗚𝗣 𝗥𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝟭𝟬 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀.

Because we aren't a one-person show, we built a bulletproof safety net into our dispatch system. We actively track every single trip in real-time. On the rare occasion a driver faces a sudden bottleneck, our strict policy is to immediately deploy a backup driver from our local team before you even have a chance to stress. We don't make excuses, we don't get lost, and we never tell you to "just call an Uber."

📱 Our 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗘𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆: True professionalism means you never have to wonder where your driver is. We have meticulously scripted our step-by-step communication to keep you safe and informed from booking to baggage claim:
• 𝗨𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: Your website reservation automatically triggers an immediate email confirmation, followed by a personal text from us locking you into our schedule and detailing your transparent rates ($𝟲𝟱 𝗚𝗣 / $𝟳𝟱 𝗦𝗖𝗦 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗧𝗪).
• 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲: You receive a comprehensive confirmation text detailing your exact pickup time, location, your assigned driver’s name, and their direct contact phone number.
• 𝟭𝟱 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿: Your driver texts you an accurate ETA when they are en route, giving you time to grab your coffee and slip your shoes on without rushing.
• 𝗔𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁: We track your arrival flight in real-time. The second your plane touches down, your driver texts you exactly what carousel your luggage is arriving on, which baggage claim door to walk out of, and the exact make, model, and color of the vehicle waiting for you at the curb.

✨ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱: As the original pioneer of this dedicated neighborhood service model, we take immense pride in setting the local standard. While others may attempt to replicate our framework, GP Rides remains the trusted, legally structured firm our community counts on. We track your flights in real-time, and guarantee our upfront flat rates with an elite level of professional accountability.

👇 𝗧𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗰𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: If you have ridden with us before and loved your experience, please drop a quick comment below to share a word of support with your neighbors! It means the world to our locally owned and operated Grosse Pointe business and our team of local drivers. 💬💙

Thank you, Grosse Pointe and Saint Clair Shores, for supporting a locally managed business built on pure work ethic. I look forward to seeing you in your driveway soon! 🚘👋
