Bodyweight squats in between every set no matter what body part I am training.

08/18/2026

Still doing a set of bodyweight squats or something similar in between every set of any other body part. Leg size is coming back as well as strength, endurance and agility! Every week I am adding 5 reps to each set so this week all of the leg sets are 25 reps.

08/16/2026

The diet, training and supplementation is paying off.

One set of bodyweight squats, jumps or lateral jumps between every set of any other body part.

Leg strength is coming back.

Agility is coming back.

Balance is coming back.

Starting to feel athletic again.

I haven’t felt like this in 15 years.

Reclaiming my athletic abilities!!!

I’ve been thinking about sharing more of the story behind Project Reclaim and why I’ve become so passionate about health and wellness.

I’ve been training for over 45 years.

When I was younger, fitness was pretty simple. I trained hard, lifted heavy, wanted to be strong and muscular…and honestly, I could eat just about anything and get away with it.

I used to joke that I was on the “seafood diet.”

I saw food. I ate it. 😂

Then somewhere along the way, the rules changed.

My metabolism changed. Recovery changed. My body changed.

But one of the biggest mistakes I made wasn’t about muscle or body fat.

I completely underestimated how important mobility and functionality is and without those your agility and balance start to fade as well.

For years I focused on being strong, but I didn’t pay enough attention to staying mobile and flexible.

Eventually I started noticing things that bothered me.

Reaching certain places on my head became difficult. Simple movements weren’t as easy as they used to be. Getting dressed without sitting down or holding on to something to keep my balance.

Then one day I was playing basketball with my family and realized I couldn’t even comfortably move and shoot the basketball the way I once could.

That hit me harder than looking in a mirror ever could.

Because suddenly this wasn’t about abs.

It wasn’t about looking younger.

It was about FREEDOM.

The freedom to move.

The freedom to stay strong.

The freedom to play with your kids and grandkids.

The freedom to keep doing the things you love instead of slowly watching them disappear from your life.

And I decided I wasn’t willing to just accept that decline as “getting older.”

That realization became a huge part of Project Reclaim.

At 58, I’m still learning. Still experimenting. Still training. Still improving my nutrition. Still working on strength, mobility, recovery and mindset.

And I’m seeing firsthand how much we can change when we stop looking for quick fixes and start taking control of the things we CAN control.

I’ve also discovered some health and wellness products that have become part of what I’m doing, and that has opened the door to a business opportunity I’m genuinely excited about.

But I want to be clear about something:

Project Reclaim will never be about pushing products.

Products can support the process.

They don’t replace the process.

My bigger goal is to build something that helps people—especially those of us in our 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond—understand that we still have a LOT of life left to live.

Maybe you’ve lost some strength.

Maybe the weight has crept up.

Maybe your energy isn’t what it used to be.

Maybe you look in the mirror and don’t quite recognize the person looking back.

Or maybe you just know you’re capable of feeling better than you do right now.

That’s who Project Reclaim is for.

We’re not trying to become 25 again.

We’re reclaiming our strength.

Our health.

Our confidence.

Our energy.

And most importantly…

our freedom.

I’m building this while I’m living it myself, and I’m going to share the wins, the mistakes, what I’m learning, what I’m using, and what’s actually working.

If any part of this sounds like where you are right now, follow along.

And if you want to know more about what I’m doing personally—or the health and wellness business I’m building—send me a message.

It’s never too late to reclaim what you thought you had lost.

Most people don’t fail because they don’t know what to do.

They fail because they quit before their body has time to respond.

You don’t need the perfect workout.
You don’t need the perfect diet.
You don’t need perfect motivation.

You need one more day.

One more walk.
One more healthy meal.
One more workout.

Then do it again tomorrow.

Five years from now, you won’t remember how hard today was.

You’ll remember that today was the day you decided not to quit.

Project Reclaim
One decision.
One day.
One life.

👇 What’s one healthy choice you’re making today?

07/29/2026

Life is going to interrupt your plans.

You’ll get sick.
You’ll miss workouts.
You’ll eat things you didn’t plan on.
You’ll have weeks where everything feels off.

That’s not failure.

Failure is deciding that one bad week has to become a bad month… or a bad year.

I spent the last few days fighting the flu. The gym wasn’t happening. My routine wasn’t perfect. Missed my macros every day.

But today?

I’m back.

That’s what Project Reclaim is really about.

It’s not about being perfect.

It’s about becoming the kind of person who always comes back.

One workout.
One healthy meal.
One good decision.

That’s how we reclaim our health.

If you’ve been waiting for the “perfect Monday” to start over…

Let today be Day One.

If you’re getting back on track today too, comment “I’m back.”

Let’s do it together.

07/28/2026

You don’t lose your health all at once…

You lose it one skipped workout.
One drive-thru meal.
One “I’ll start Monday.”
One year at a time.

The good news?

You don’t get it back all at once either.

You reclaim it the exact same way…

One walk.
One healthy meal.
One workout.
One good decision.

People think transformation comes from one huge moment.

It doesn’t.

It comes from hundreds of ordinary decisions that nobody applauds.

If you’re over 50, hear me when I say this:

It’s NOT too late.
Your best years are not behind you unless you decide they are.

Today, make one decision your future self will thank you for.

That’s what Project Reclaim is all about.

What is ONE thing you’re doing today to reclaim your health?

07/27/2026

You don’t wake up one day feeling 20 years older.

It happens one small decision at a time.

You skip the workout.
You grab the drive-thru.
You tell yourself you’ll start Monday.

Then one day you wonder where your energy, strength, and confidence went.

Here’s the good news…

You can reclaim them the exact same way you lost them.

One workout.
One healthy meal.
One walk.
One better choice.

You don’t need to be perfect.

You just need to start stacking small wins.

That’s what Project Reclaim is all about.

What’s ONE thing you’re going to do today to become a healthier version of yourself?
