In 2022, a survivor reached out to our FreedomLine. Over the next couple of years, our team stayed connected with her through different seasons. At one point, she was accepted into a safe home—but ultimately decided not to go.
Our last contact with her was in 2024. Then, we didn’t hear from her again. Until recently.
One of our partner homes in Arizona had accepted a survivor into their program and needed help getting her there. As our team gathered the information, we realized - it was her.
The same woman who had called us years earlier. But this time, she was ready. She chose to move forward with placement, and Rescue America helped coordinate her transportation. She arrived safely to the home and is in the next the chapter of her journey.
This is why we answer the FreedomLine without expecting every call to end in an immediate exit. Sometimes, God gives us the incredible privilege of seeing what happened to a seed planted years before.
Thank you for helping Rescue America continue to answer the call, walk alongside survivors without giving up on them, and remind them that whenever they are ready, they are not forgotten.

During our prayer time today, one of our team members prayed a phrase that stopped me:
“May Jesus be the last man to purchase them.”
I can't quite explain why those words hit me the way they did, but they have stayed with me all day.
As we reflect on Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement, I find myself thinking about homecoming. About returning to God. About the deep longing in every human heart to be known, loved, and safe. And I think about the women we serve. The women who are still being bought and sold. The women who are searching for a way out. The women who may have forgotten what it feels like to be valued as a person rather than treated as a commodity.
So today, this is our prayer:
May Jesus be the last man to purchase them.
Not another trafficker. Not another exploiter. Not another man who sees them as something to own.
Jesus, You paid the ultimate price—not to possess them, but to set them free.
“You were bought at a price.” — 1 Corinthians 6:20
May captivity give way to freedom. May shame give way to dignity. May fear give way to peace.
May every woman find her way home—to safety, to restoration, to hope, and ultimately to the God who has never stopped calling her His own.
Jesus, bring Your daughters home. Not to possess them, but to set them free. Amen.

Two years ago, a mother made the brave decision to exit her circumstances and begin the hard work of rebuilding her life. Today, she was reunited with her daughter, and now they have the beautiful opportunity to rebuild together.
This reunification was made possible by the collaboration between Rescue America, Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Freedom Church Alliance, Department of Transportation, and Southwest Airlines, along with support from donors like you.
Every rescue, every flight, every safe place, every answered call happens because someone chose to care.

The Rescue Difference.
Today, a survivor reminded us of something profound.
After we prayed together, I offered to send her healing scriptures. She paused and asked:
“Do you know what the Rescue difference is?”
She explained that it’s not just that we pray.
It’s that we ask.
She said, “No one gives me options. And to be asked and not told—even for the little things—feels so good when you’ve been trafficked.”
That stopped me.
Because when someone has spent years having their choices taken away, being asked matters.
“Can I pray with you?”
“Would you like me to send that to you?”
“What would feel helpful right now?”
These may seem like little questions.
But sometimes, healing begins when someone realizes:
My voice matters.
My choice matters.
I matter.
That’s the Rescue difference.
Rescue. Revive. Empower.

After reaching out to Rescue America, Jenn received help navigating transportation, finding local support, and taking the next steps toward a safer, more stable life.
Today, she’s preparing to move into her own apartment and continue building her future.
She recently reached back out just to say thank you—and to let us know how far she’s come.
This is why we do what we do. Rescue isn’t the end of the journey. It’s the beginning of a new one.
This week alone, we’ve helped 4 women like Jenn reach safety and freedom. Your donation empowers us to change 4 more lives in the next 7 days. Would you consider donating today?

Awareness starts the conversation. Action changes lives.
Today, on World Day Against Trafficking in Persons, millions will post statistics and share facts about human trafficking. While awareness matters, it is only the beginning.
Real change happens when people choose to act.
At Rescue America, action means answering the phone when a survivor reaches out. It means helping someone find safety, connecting them with trusted partners, and walking beside them as they rebuild their lives.
You can be part of that mission.
Today, we invite you to take one step:
• Pray for survivors, those still being exploited, and those serving on the front lines worldwide!
• Learn the signs of trafficking so you can recognize and report concerns.
• Share this message to help others understand that hope is available.
• Volunteer your time and gifts to strengthen the response.
• Give so every survivor who reaches out is met with compassion, resources, and a pathway toward freedom. Visit rescueamerica.ngo/give to give now.
Human trafficking will not end because people become aware of it. It will end because ordinary people choose to take extraordinary action.
Join us.
Every Call. Every Survivor. Every Step Toward Freedom. Until Every Life Is Free.

Every time the phone rings, it means someone has chosen courage.
In February alone, 120 individuals reached out to our 24/7 hotline looking for safety, clarity, and hope for what comes next. Each call was a powerful decision to speak up and believe that someone on the other end would care.
Because of your generosity, every single call was met with compassion, truth, and steady support.
Your partnership ensures that when someone takes that brave step, they are never met with silence.
Thank you for helping us be there when it matters most. 💙

When much of the world pauses for the holidays, the Rescue America Hotline does not.
Just before Thanksgiving, a mother made a brave choice. She left an exploitative situation with her young daughter, determined to protect her child and begin rebuilding their lives.
Reaching out for help takes strength and humility, especially during a season when others are busy and many doors are closed.
Because the Rescue America Hotline was open, she wasn’t alone to figure out next steps.
With the support of a caring community, this family was surrounded with warmth—meals shared, needs met, and steady encouragement through an uncertain week.
After Thanksgiving, a safe placement became available, and they arrived ready to take their next steps toward healing.
This is why we stay.
This is why we answer the phone again and again.
Because survivors know this is a place they can come back to.
