Our goal is to not only provide the best coffee in town but to be a place where you feel welcome and at home. We will feature coffees from some great growing regions as well as the only place in town serving you coffee from the home of modern coffee roasting and processing, Yemen.

We can brew any of our single-origin coffees over ice for a refreshing warm weather treat. The result is not diluted, because we factor in the amount of melted ice as part of the water ratio.

Macchiato is Italian for "mark" - because it is traditionally a double shot of espresso, with about a 1 oz "mark" of steamed milk.
Bonus points if you order it using your best Italian accent!

Jacob!!
This guy has worked with us at Baba Java for many years now, and is a familiar face in all of our cafes!
His main role right now is driving "Big Baba" around delivering coffee to our wholesale clients, (partnering coffee shops, Piggly Wigglys, etc.) and delivering materials and coffees between our warehouse and cafes!
While his job is more behind the scenes, we didn't want to waste an opportunity to shout him out on socials! We're grateful for all his hard work.

Baba Java is Arabic for "father coffee."
Baba Java was born from the dream of a father-son duo. Our name signifies their relationship, and is a nod towards our commitment to coffee's impact on cultures all over the globe.
We began roasting in 2018, opening our Hoover cafe the following Spring. Today, we have relationships with farmers and roasters all over the world. The coffee you purchase has a direct positive impact on those farmers and their communities!
