This is to insure the layers of paint closest to the canvas are completely dry prior to sealing. Paintings are sealed with clear enamel gloss spray or human-safe ArtResin to help protect the artwork. Hang with or without a frame. Dust with a clean, dry cloth; if soiled, you may use a tiny bit of dish soap and warm water, rinse well, and dry with a lint-free cloth.
