“Swimming towards the sun ~ “

🐢Almost uniquely among sea turtle populations worldwide, Hawaii’s honu haul themselves onto beaches to sun themselves, a behavior rarely seen elsewhere. Scientists think it may help regulate body temperature, avoid predators, or speed up digestion — but it makes them one of the few places on Earth where you can reliably spot turtles resting right on the sand.🐢

Wearing your art ~

Art translates beautifully across mediums. This monstera painting can become a stunning pattern on a tote bag, a vivid graphic on a casual shirt, or an elegant focal point on a scarf.

This whimsical sketch captures a garden of stylized hibiscus blossoms bursting across the page like a lei of island color.

Bold black diagonal stripes slice across the composition like volcanic rock against tropical bloom, while scattered circles float around the page like bubbles rising from a warm Pacific tide pool. Together, the sketch channels the playful, sun-soaked spirit of the islands — where hibiscus flowers, Hawaii’s state flower, tumble in every hue along garden paths and behind ears at sunset.

Let me know what else did you see?
