October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This month, we stand with those affected by breast cancer and encourage everyone to prioritize their health, schedule recommended screenings, and support those in our community who are fighting or have fought this disease.

Early detection can make a difference.

Last night, five members of the Spring Valley Village Police Department were recognized by City Council for their exemplary teamwork and professionalism during the investigation of two aggravated robberies.

Congratulations to Captain Menchaca, Sergeant Spriggs, Sergeant Maldonado, Officer Jimenez, and Officer Rodriguez on this well-deserved recognition! We are proud of their dedication, teamwork, and commitment to our community.

The temperatures may still be warm here in Texas, but we’re ready for a new season! As we welcome fall, we hope you enjoy the cooler days ahead, time with family and friends, and all the fun that comes with the season.

From all of us at Spring Valley Village Police Department, have a safe and happy autumn!
