Smithwick Engineering

Replacement isn’t always the only answer. The right engineered upgrades can help you get more from your existing overhead lifting system.

Let’s find the right solution for your operation.

A safe and reliable lifting system starts with more than just the crane itself. Structural analysis helps ensure the runway and supporting structure are ready to handle the demands of your operation.

Don’t overlook what’s supporting your lift.

Don't wait for a problem to find one ⚠️

Routine crane inspections help identify wear, damage, and potential issues before they lead to downtime, costly repairs, or safety incidents. A proactive inspection program keeps your equipment operating safely and helps ensure every lift starts with confidence.

Find the issue before the issue finds you.

CRANE TIP TUESDAY ⚠️

Before putting a crane to work, take the time to inspect it. Check the hook, wire rope, controls, brakes, and other critical components for signs of wear, damage, or anything that may affect safe operation.

A few minutes of inspection can prevent a much bigger problem.

⚠️ Safety Tip of the Week

A successful lift starts with proper planning. Taking the time to understand the load, verify crane capacity, and inspect your equipment can help prevent accidents and keep everyone on the jobsite safe.

Know the load. Know the limits. Lift safely.

Today, we proudly celebrate the Professional Engineers on our team whose expertise, innovation, and commitment to excellence help make every project a success.
