⚖️ Inside the courtroom at Porter High School! 🏛️✨
Our Law Enforcement students in Court Systems & Practices and Advanced Legal Skills & Professions stepped into the courtroom for a powerful prosecution-versus-defense case study based on the real-world Lindsay Clancy case! 📁🚨
Working in teams, students took on the roles of legal counsel—analyzing case information, crafting strong arguments, and presenting their positions to the class. 🗣️💼 They put key legal concepts directly into action, exploring:
⚖️ Due Process & Presumption of Innocence 🔍 The Prosecution’s Burden of Proof 📄 The Role of Evidence & Grand Jury Proceedings 🛡️ Fifth & Sixth Amendment Protections
This hands-on challenge pushed our Spartans to evaluate competing arguments, ground their claims in solid evidence, and practice professional legal communication—all while understanding how trial procedures apply in real life! 👏💡
