Yesterday evening, we proudly recognized another outstanding class of DWI Court graduates at the Fort Bend County Justice Center.
These thirteen men and women successfully completed a demanding program focused on accountability, intensive treatment, and personal transformation. Through hard work and commitment, they are reclaiming their lives with sobriety and renewed responsibility. Their success makes our roads safer and strengthens families and our entire community.
A heartfelt congratulations to every graduate and their proud families. Moments like these remind us what justice done right truly looks like.

Yesterday, Justice Forward Board Member, Jessica Yeager was recognized during the Harris County Family District Court’s Family Preservation and Reunification Celebration. Jessica‘s experience in the Family Court system was heartbreaking, and at times deeply unjust. Through her extraordinary determination, unwavering persistence and sustain recovery, her story now reflects hope, healing and resilience.
Today, Jessica is a respected and tenacious advocate for the rights of birth mothers and family reunification. She continues to work towards meaningful change while building a relationship with the daughter she lost during the difficult journey.
Justice Forward is proud of Jessica’s fierce commitment to advocacy, recovery and service on our Board. Her story is a powerful reminder that recovery makes anything possible.

Today we celebrate the dads who have chosen a better way of life, who do the hard work in Treatment Courts, and by doing so, effect generational change.

We have been to some wonderful graduations recently: Felony Mental Health Court with Judge Brock Thomas, and the STAR Drug Court Program graduation presided over by Judge Josh Hill, Judge Hazel Jones, Judge Hilary Unger and Judge Danny Lacayo. Big shout out to recovery leaders George Joseph, CEO of Positive Recovery Centers and Dorothy West, Execitive Director of Center for Recovery and Wellness Resources for their inspirational words.
