TEXAS: The Ventana by Buckner International in Dallas was undergoing renovations and their HVAC system needed some care. The building was experiencing humidity control issues that were impacting occupant comfort and indoor air quality.

Our experts were able to provide a solution. Our team designed and provided new Dedicated Outdoor Air System units. We selected two Petra DOAS units, each rated at 100 tons, specifically engineered to effectively dehumidify the outdoor air being introduced into the space, served by the existing VRV system. The solution was designed to improve humidity control, enhance indoor comfort, and provide reliable, energy-efficient performance that met the project's requirements.

A unique challenge on this project was the installation of the rooftop equipment. Due to limited access around the building and the height of the structure, a traditional crane lift was not feasible. As a result, the units were helicopter-lifted onto the roof, requiring detailed planning, coordination, and ex*****on to ensure a safe and successful installation while minimizing disruption to the facility and surrounding area.

With this new HVAC system, the comfortability of the building has been restored and the occupants can enjoy premium indoor air quality!

TEXAS: A new HEB distribution center, Project Roadrunner, needed an HVAC system that was properly designed to ensure that it would meet the facility’s cooling, ventilation, efficiency, and comfort requirements from the start. Our expert team was able to provide them Daikin Rebel and Maverick II Units, as these were both cost effective and efficient.

The primary goal of this project was to reduce the owner's overall construction and long-term operating costs by improving the HVAC system design without compromising the original performance requirements. Our team redesigned the system from a chilled water configuration to packaged rooftop units, resulting in a more cost-effective solution while still meeting the owner's design criteria. In addition, airflow measuring stations were included on each unit to satisfy the owner's ventilation and monitoring requirements, ensuring the redesigned system delivered the same level of performance and functionality as the original design.

With the new HVAC system, the building’s occupants will be comfortable all year around!
