Different Beast

When we formed the band on July 10, 2010, we went through hundreds of possible band names.

Different Beast is an eclectic mix of musicians (and drummers, too) with varying musical tastes, influences and backgrounds - all of which revolve around a common core of "groove-based roots-rock". After going around and around searching for one name that best described the band, Kyle said with a sigh of frustration, "This band truly is a different beast", and he was right.
