Kim Carson

I just played a show at The Gallery LIVE at Bankersmith last night with Mike Blakely.
Dang, he’s GOOD!

What a wonderful venue for music and art!
A big thank you to everyone that came out. It meant a lot to me sharing the evening together. 🙏

Tonight I get to play with my old friend Mike Blakely at:

The Gallery LIVE at Bankersmith, Texas.

Mike was touring around Switzerland in the early 2000’s and we’d see each other’s posters promoting our shows. Folks would ask if I knew Mike but we had never met. They would say, “But you must. He is also from Texas!”

Finally, after a couple of years, I hunted Mike down to meet this Texas Troubadour. I had already been listening to his music and read a half dozen of his books.

Tonight we get to play together, share stories songs and perhaps a bottle of w**e.

I’m just devastated with the news of Dolly Parton’s passing. I never considered a time that Dolly wouldn’t be with us.

Dolly was living proof that, even if you come from meager beginnings, you can envision that Dream and work toward it with action, discipline and determination. Dolly made her Dreams come true and showed us all the possibilities in our own lives.

Dolly actively helps so many in her beautiful area of Sevierville and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee through education and motivation to Dream and to Live your Dream with action and dedication.

Her bright light will shine on!

I just found out I’m playing at Albert Ice House today 1 to 4!
