How many lies about yourself have you entertained today? Stop it!
Too often when our partner does not live up to what we expect, we ask, “what’s wrong with them,” but rarely ask, “did I do something to contribute to this?”
I do not believe in staying married just for the kids. However, I do believe in learning to relate to each other better for the kids. Learn to communicate, be humble, forgive, become emotionally mature, deal with your childhood issues, treat your partner with respect, and learn to love for the kids. They deserve a chance to have a better marriage than you. But you have to model the right things!! If YOU grow then your kids will also.
