The next Miriam Walker Collection Open House is Saturday, 12 September 2026. It's our invitation to see what we have been up to. I am forever pushing myself to grow my gifts. This series is an exploration of a new technique I am learning called Precious Metal Clay. My first attempt working with clay or a kiln. I just completed the concept sketch book with 80 designs. I will see how many pieces I can create by 12 September 2026. Hope to see you there!!!

Over the past year I have handcrafted over 500 unique Wearable Fine Art pieces. Here is look at some of the neck pieces handcrafted by Miriam Walker Collection. If I had to pick one piece to make it will always be a neck piece over rings, bracelets or earrings. My creative gift flows naturally when I design neck pieces. I love them so much!!!

I am forever findings inspiration in God's Beautiful Creations

Last year I decided to create sketch books for every Wearable Fine Art collection I make. I love sketching but I have never done it consistently and I want to get better at it.

Last week I decided to walk around my yard and photograph everything I saw blooming. Some of the blooms are the result of seeds I planted in April. Others have existed for years and I thought they were just weeds. I even discovered a watermelon plant growing that I did not plant.

To challenge myself I decided to sketch the flowers. The idea is to work to improve my technique, skills, & learn how to use new drawing tools. I focus on using what I have around me. We really do have everything we need to be great.

God's Beauty really is everywhere & it inspires everything I create. Just stop & take the time to look.

This is the first time I have done sketches like these. I enjoyed the process so much, I plan to include nature sketching as a regular part of my creative journey. I want to continue to improve. In time I know I will.
