Comforting Meals at Com Nieu (Claypot Kitchen)

Growing up and driving to Chinatown meant family meals and spending quality time together while eating. Food was more than just a meal for my family. It was a bond that held us together after a long work/school week and just having small joyful moments like this! Com Nieu took me back to those fond memories of my childhood. Flavors felt very familiar and comforting, but also reminded me of my mom’s cooking techniques as well. 🙂

Mochi Churros in Dallas

I’m sorry but I was NOT expecting this churro to be THIS BIG 🤣 IYKYK Mochi Churro had taken aback a bit because of the size 🤭 however, the flavors were on point and it’s takeout only. So you can enjoy this in your car and eat it as you drive around town! I HIGHLY recommend the Ube Churro Mochi with the Ube dipping sauce!

Harmony Noodles & Dumplings - Katy, TX

Restaurants that remind me of Asia always have a soft spot for me. At Harmony Noodles & Dumplings, their fish maw soup won me over. I liked that they had different variations of the fish maw soup & other tasty dishes ranging from noodles, soups and dumplings. Come hungry because the portions are shareable! 😋

Sunday Market in Dallas, TX 🇹🇭

Looking for something different to do on a Sunday? The Buddhist Temple of Dallas (Wat Dallas) has a weekly Sunday Market from 9AM - 3PM! It was a nice nostalgic feeling for me because it reminded me of the Street Market/Vendors in Bangkok! Come hungry because they have so much good Thai Street Food! (BRING CASH, majority of the vendors take cash only. Some take Zelle/Venmo/Card)

Korean Style Soft Bagels 🥯 Cloud 9 Bagels

Having to try Bagels from Korea taste so much different from the ones in 🇺🇸 and if you’re in the Carrollton area, Cloud 9 Bagels will win you over! They freshly bake their bagels and make their cream cheeses in house! Best way to describe these bagels are soft and fluffy (different from the traditional chewy bagels). You can also mix & match bagels and cream cheese combos too!
