There's just something about Disney during the holidays that you have to experience for yourself. You get snoap falling on Main Street, Christmas music around every corner, and the joy of watching your kids take it all in with that wide-eyed Disney magic. It's one of those trips that feels just as special for the grown-ups as it does for the little ones.

And you don't have to wait until December to feel it. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party starts November 8th, so Christmas at Disney is closer than you think.

One of our favorite things about visiting a new destination is coming home with all the little tips we wish we'd known before we got there, and this was DEFINITELY one of them. 🫣

We headed to Trollstastic: Concert Countdown at Universal Kids Resort later in the afternoon. It's a live singing and dancing show with Poppy, Branch, Guy Diamond, and Delta Dawn, and our kids couldn't wait to see it. Right before the show started they let everyone know it was so hot the characters could only come out for the final song. The kids still had a blast dancing along, but we all walked away wishing we'd gotten to see the full show.

Next time, we'd make this one of our very first stops of the day. It's such a simple change, but it's one of those things you just don't know until you've been there yourself. That's exactly why we love visiting destinations before sending families there. We'd much rather pass along little tips like this before your trip than have you figure them out once you're in the park, especially when it can make such a big difference for a little Trolls fan. 🩷

We had an amazing time exploring Universal Kids Resort, but we were also paying attention to the things our clients care about, like which rides were actually worth the wait, which play areas kept kids coming back, where the toddler toilets are (such a thoughtful feature), and all the little details that can make or break a park day.

The best part? We weren't guessing.
