there is no shot list for the once in a lifetime moments that flitter by. Part of what makes an artist tried and true in their craft is their dialed in ability to notice and anticipate what might unfold.

When we narrow life down to a shot list we place the humanity of a wedding into a box—unknowingly missing what may have been all because we “got everything on the list”

No day is the same, just as no couple is alike. What was captured at one wedding can’t always be replicated at another. Nor should it be.

Shot list exist for “reception scapes” perhaps, but we can’t use them as recipe cards for couples who will never be the same.

there’s people you never forget meeting—and that is Lexie and Mark.

when a couples love is this pure—-it can’t help but make everyone around them better for it. You see this shine through in the traditions—Speeches have become one of our favorite moments in a day because of this. It’s a time where the curtain is peeled back, and we get a peek at the inner workings of the couple we’re having the privilege to film.

We see the cheers and the toast of people who came together solely because they met.

the climax of all the planning then really becomes just the beginning of a new grand adventure.
