I took a walk with my son. He’s more talkative and I learn lot about his life that way. “I’m a good listener,” I tell myself, but instantly I realize how little he must know about my life. Boring as it may be, I tried to share what goes on at my school, who my coworkers are, what goes on in the classroom and what I appreciate about it all. Along the way we point out things we see on the trail and what ever else comes to mind. It was a good hike. It was a great time with my son.
