π¦ππ Innovative Day Fun in the Library! πππ¦
Our 5th graders visited the library today for Innovative Day, and we had an absolute blast putting our library skills to the test... Jeopardy style!
Teams worked together to earn points by locating books using call numbers, spine labels, and genres. It was exciting to watch students collaborate, problem-solve, and put their library knowledge into action.
We can't wait to welcome our 4th graders tomorrow and see if they can match the excitement and library skills of our 5th grade teams!

Happy Tuesday, Raptor Families!
Our Raptor Morning News Crew did a little switch-a-roo today! Students had the opportunity to step into a different role on the team and learn new jobs and skills. From anchors trying camera work to crew members exploring new responsibilities, our students are expanding their talents and building confidence along the way.
We love seeing our Raptors challenge themselves, take on new responsibilities, and grow as leaders. Learning new skills helps our students become flexible, collaborative, and ready for any opportunity that comes their way!
ππ Way to go, Raptors! We can't wait to see all the new skills you're adding to your toolbox!

ππ© Who doesn't love a Fri-YAY surprise?! π©π
Our Raptor Morning News Crew celebrated a successful first full week with a sweet donut treat this morning!
These outstanding 5th graders have made this librarian so proud. In just one short week, I have already seen incredible growth in their confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. From interviewing staff members and editing anchor slides to running the video and sound boards, helping our anchors look their best on camera, and, of course, serving as the smiling faces of the Raptor Morning News, these students have stepped up and exceeded expectations.
They have started the school year with a BANG, and I can't wait to see all they accomplish this 9 weeks!
π¦π₯πΊ Way to go, Raptors! We are so proud of you! ππ π¦β¨

HUGE shoutβout to our incredible Raptor Comic Club students! π¦π₯
I am SO proud of the creativity, effort, and problemβsolving they poured into bringing their comic visions to life. Every comic was bursting with imaginationβawesome artwork, clever stories, and BIG ideas!
We wrapped up our club with a Comic Book Showcase, where students proudly shared their comic creations with their families. They even went the extra mile by creating eyeβcatching banners for their comics and designing wearable buttons to pass out to visitors at their tablesβjust like real authors and artists! π€©π¨π
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing parents for supporting their children every step of the way. Because of you, our students learned new skills and experienced the full bookmaking process from start to finish.
Thank you for showing up, celebrating their hard work, and believing in their creativity. We truly have the BEST families! πβ¨
