VFW - Post 8790

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, VFW Post 8790 pauses to remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on a day that forever changed our nation.

We honor the firefighters, police officers, paramedics, first responders, service members, and ordinary Americans who showed extraordinary courage in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

We remember those who never made it home.
We remember the families who still carry their loss.
We remember the heroes who ran toward danger to save others.
And we remember the men and women who answered our nation’s call to serve in the years that followed.

For a moment today, may we put aside our differences and remember the unity, strength, and compassion that brought Americans together.

Please join VFW Post 8790 in taking a moment of silence for the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and all those forever affected by September 11th.

This Friday, September 11th, VFW Post 8790 will commemorate the 25th Anniversary of September 11, 2001.

We will gather to remember the lives lost, honor the heroes who answered the call, and recognize the first responders who continue to serve our communities every day.
