GOODBYE WAINSCOTING. 👋
WELCOME ART. 🎨

What was once a traditional accent wall is now a one-of-a-kind handcrafted plaster finish.

For this transformation, we removed the existing wainscoting design and completely reimagined the wall using Marmorino Palladino, applied by hand to create organic movement, texture, depth, and character.

And that’s what makes decorative plaster different.

There’s no roller pattern.
There’s no wallpaper repeat.
There’s no factory-made texture.

Every movement you see was created by hand.

The subtle variations and natural imperfections are exactly what give this wall its personality and make the finish truly unique to this home.

From a dark architectural accent wall to a soft, sophisticated statement piece that changes throughout the day as the light moves across the plaster. ✨

At DA Paint Service, we believe walls can be more than just a color.

They can become part of the art and architecture of the home.

DON’T REPLACE YOUR BRICK — TRANSFORM IT. 🧱🔥

You’d be surprised what the right finish, the right products, and an artistic eye can do to completely change the appearance of a home.

This exterior transformation is proof. 🏡✨

For the brick, we applied Romabio Masonry Flat, creating a beautiful mineral finish that gave the entire home a fresh new appearance while maintaining the texture and character of the masonry.

But we didn’t stop at the brick.

The siding was painted to match the brick, creating a clean and cohesive look throughout the home. Then we introduced a dark gray tone on the trim, soffits, gutters, garage doors, back doors, and front & back porch ceilings.

That contrast changed everything.

The combination of the light masonry and dark architectural details created a finish that feels clean, modern, elegant, and timeless.

Swipe and look at the BEFORE. 👀 The transformation speaks for itself.

At DA Paint Service, we don’t just show up and change a color. We look at the entire home — the brick, siding, architectural details, existing colors, and surrounding elements — to create a finish that works together as one complete design.

Because sometimes your home doesn’t need new brick.

It needs the right vision. 🎨

BRINGING THIS FIREPLACE BACK TO LIFE. 🧱✨

What happens when beautiful brick loses its character under layers of latex paint?

We bring it back to life.

This fireplace started with a flat, painted appearance that was hiding the texture and architectural character of the brick. Our goal wasn’t simply to change the color — we wanted to completely transform the way the masonry looked and felt.

Using Romabio Paints mineral paint combined with our custom artistic application, we created layers of subtle variation, movement, depth, and character to give this fireplace a completely new look.

The difference is in the details. 🎨

This isn’t about covering brick with another coat of paint. It’s about using the right mineral products, techniques, and artistic vision to create a finish that complements the architecture and feels intentional.

From flat latex-painted brick → to a mineral finish full of character.

That’s what we mean when we say:

Limewash & mineral finishes aren’t just paint — they’re ART.

At DA Paint Service, we specialize in transforming ordinary surfaces into custom finishes designed specifically for each home.

When Limewash becomes ART. 🤍🧱🎨

This custom Limewash finish was created for a beautiful custom home and pool house here in Houston, TX.

For this project, we worked hand-in-hand with the homeowner to understand exactly the look she was trying to achieve. We created samples, adjusted the finish, and developed a custom artistic application until we achieved the character, movement, and aged appearance she envisioned.

We were told that previous painters had attempted the finish but weren’t able to meet the homeowner’s expectations. That made this project even more special for us. In the end, the homeowner loved the result, the builder was extremely happy, and we couldn’t be more proud of the transformation.

A special thank you to the designer AE Interiors | Ashley Evans who recommended DA Paint Service and trusted us with this project. We truly appreciate the opportunity.

Remember: Limewash is not just paint — it’s ART.
Every brush stroke, every variation, and every layer contributes to the final look. The right application can completely transform the architecture and character of a home.

At DA Paint Service, we specialize in creating custom finishes—not simply applying paint.
