2. ๐๐ฉ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ: Reach out if youโd like to become a meal or financial partner. Your support helps us keep showing up and serving consistently.
3. ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ญ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฌ: If you have grant-writing skills and would like to use them to support FRESH, send us a DM. Weโd love to connect with you.

A new month means new opportunities to love our neighbors, serve with compassion, and make a difference together.
Thank you to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who continues to be part of the FRESH Project family. Because of you, hope is shared one meal, one conversation, and one act of kindness at a time.
As we step into August, we're looking forward to serving our community with the same heart and purpose that brings us together every month.

Today, FRESH will not be holding an outreach service.
As we continue to adapt our outreach schedule to better meet the evolving needs of our community, our commitment to serving our neighbors remains unchanged.
Thank you to our volunteers, partners, supporters, and everyone who makes this work possible. Your kindness and generosity allow us to continue serving with dignity, compassion, and hope.

Summer in Houston brings long, hot days. โ๏ธ
Every Monday evening, we meet our unhoused neighbors where they are.
Along with a hot meal and a conversation, we provide practical items that can help make another week in the Houston heat a little more manageable.
This month, we're hoping to stock these Summer Essentials:

Earlier this week, our team was back at SEARCH and New Hope Housing, serving our neighbors with hot meals, meaningful conversations, and care. ๐
This outreach may serve a smaller group than some of our larger distributions, but it creates space for something just as important - building relationships, connecting people with resources, and showing up consistently for our community.
We're grateful to everyone who volunteers, gives, and supports this work. Because of you, we can continue serving with dignity, compassion, and hope.

FRESH is growing. ๐
Growth doesn't always mean doing more, it also means being intentional about how we serve.
As our outreach continues to evolve, so does the way we welcome volunteers.
To help us coordinate each outreach, we now ask all volunteers to register through the POINT app before serving.
Every outreach location is different. Some of our serving sites can only accommodate a small number of volunteers, while others require larger teams.
Using the POINT app helps us place volunteers where they're needed most and ensures each outreach is well-supported.
These changes aren't about limiting volunteers; they're about serving with intention, stewarding our resources well, and creating the best experience for both our volunteers and our unhoused neighbors.
We're building something that lasts, and we're grateful to have you on this journey with us.
