I want to thank the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Department and every officer who helped bring this case together. Grizzy's Hood News, JP, and everyone who shared information also played an important role. This is what happens when a community comes together and refuses to let people take what doesn’t belong to them.

Astros got that win last night 7-5! Lucas Spence had a HUGE night with 3 home runs, which were actually the first 3 of his MLB career!
Astros and Rangers are still tied with just 3 games left. Going to be an interesting weekend!

Resilience is a Texas value I believe in with my whole heart. Life is going to knock you down sometimes. What matters is getting back up, adjusting and moving forward. A setback is just a setup for a comeback. Texans know how to get back up, rebuild and keep going no matter what comes our way. That’s this week’s Texas Value: RESILIENCE.
Talk about a blast from the past! I met Brycne when he was just nine years old, and I’ve had the privilege of watching him grow into an incredible young man. He started out serving cookies and putting out chips around the store. Now, at 13, he spends his weekends and holidays helping customers, working the sales floor and learning the value of hard work. Brycne says one of the greatest lessons he’s learned is that work is life’s greatest therapy. Get up, go to work, help people and make something out of your life. I couldn’t be prouder of him, and I can’t wait to see where that work ethic takes him. Keep it up, Brycne!

America was built by people who came here with little in hand, but big dreams in their hearts. They brought skills, trades and a willingness to work hard, building alongside their neighbors and helping shape American industry for generations to come. Their legacy lives on in the pride of a job well done and in the hardworking people who still make things right here in America today. God bless American workers, and God bless America!

Booker T. Washington’s story is a powerful reminder of what determination, hard work and perseverance can accomplish.
He pursued an education against incredible odds and went on to build Tuskegee from the ground up. His example reminds me that success isn’t about where you start. It’s about showing up, doing the work and refusing to let obstacles stop you.
This week, pick the obstacle in front of you and get to work. Keep pushing forward!
