� Welcome Friends! � We are a Nonprofit 501(c)(3) Foster Based Animal Rescue in Fort Bend County, Tx. We accept all breeds of dogs and cats as long as we have fosters. :) Every animal will be fully vetted, neutered/spayed and microchipped before adopted into a loving forever home. We appreciate everyone's support �
Our Mission: to give back to what is being taken away from them - a chance at life! It is not their fault they are abandoned on the street and in shelters. It is not their fault the shelters are overpopulated, They should not have to pay the price for it by being euthanized. We at Lucky Penny Rox Rescue believe every life is precious and deserves a chance at happiness. Our rescue is a foster based rescue that takes in dogs and cats and places them in committed loving forever homes. We do not discriminate on breed, size, age or disability! We love all animals and want to be a safe haven while they wait for their new families. We want to place every animal in a loving home that will be theirs for their life time. There is no time limit on how long animals stay with the rescue,
Our priority is to make sure they are healthy and well adjusted before being adopted. They will not be placed if the home or family does not fit their needs. We will always strive to make the perfect match between owner and pet as we want the bond to last a life time. What does a foster based rescue mean?
- it means we rely on fosters who volunteer to open up their homes to rescued animals until a forever home is found.
- there is not a physical location or building we are a network of volunteers supporting animals in need in our homes. To foster for or adopt from our rescue, we require an application and upon approval a signed foster or adoption contract. House checks are conducted on case by case basis for both fosters and potential adopters. For adoptions there is a fee which covers only basic vetting expenses. The fee does not cover any vet expenses due to illness or surgeries for example due to broken bones when initially rescued. 🐾💗 Meet Abigail! 💗🐾
Sweet Abigail was pulled from BARC with her sister, and now this precious girl is ready for the next chapter of her life — finding her forever family. 🥹❤️
Abigail is an absolute gem of a puppy. She loves other dogs, enjoys playing, and is happiest when she’s getting some good snuggles. 🐶💕 She’s still learning all those important puppy things, including house training and manners, but she’s doing her best and is ready for a family who will be patient, loving, and willing to help her grow.
Abigail will be spayed next week and will be ready to head home shortly after. 🏡✨
She can be adopted locally or out of state! Our process is easy and supportive so, let’s get this girl a home!
This sweet girl has already been through so much for such a young pup. Now she deserves what every puppy should have — a safe home, a loving family, a cozy bed, and someone who will love her forever. ❤️

🌟 ADOPT CHAS! 🌟
We want to showcase some of our dogs that are having a little more trouble finding a home. So please share Chas far and wide! 🙏
This is Chas! He came to us due to an animal cruelty investigation. He was found chained to an abandoned trailer. He was skin and bones when the sheriff’s office found him. The rural area did not have many options for dogs and did not even have an animal control facility. We were emailed and asked if we could help.
Chas is a great boy! He’s about 4 years old and has come through some very rough times before rescue. We don’t know his story and why he was left chained to that trailer, but we know it hasn’t dimmed his spirit.
He loves everyone! He just wants to cuddle and play. He enjoys giving hugs and will get the zoomies after multiple hugs. He LOVES shoes. I don’t know where that came from… but nothing gives him the zoomies more than having a shoe to play with. He loves shoes!
He is so happy to sunbathe, go on walks, or play with his favorite shoe in the yard 😂
He is kennel trained and keeps a very clean house. He reliably does his business outside. He walks well on a leash and enjoys going on long walks to sniff all the smells!
Chas would love to be in a home where he is the only pet. He is not his best self around other animals and would love to keep his shoe kingdom for himself.

Prayers For Fonzi 🙏
Some days in rescue are filled with happy endings. Adoption photos. Tails wagging. Animals finally getting the life they deserved.
And then there are days like this.
Days when you realize that saving an animal doesn’t always mean you get to save them from everything. Our sweet little Fonzi is still struggling.
He continues to battle severe congestion along with heart failure and advanced heartworms. He is on the medications he needs, under the care of his vets, and receiving nebulizer treatments to help him breathe. We are doing everything we possibly can for this tiny boy.
He is still eating well. But now he is losing weight.
And when you are already as incredibly small as Fonzi, losing weight is significant. His little body simply doesn’t have much to spare. 💔
We want so badly to tell you that he is turning a corner. That the medications are working. That he is getting stronger.
But the truth is, we aren’t optimistic that Fonzi has much improvement left ahead of him and we are treading water and that update hurts. Because this little guy has already been through enough.
We think about what could have happened if he hadn’t been rescued. He could still be out there struggling to survive with no one noticing. He could have gone unnoticed in that park and faced the elements and predators on his own.
He could have spent his final days scared, sick, hungry, and completely alone.
But he isn’t.
Fonzi is safe.
He has a bed.
He has food.
He has medications.
He has doctors.
He has nebulizer treatments.
He has people watching every breath he takes.
And he has people who refuse to let him feel alone.
Is he tired?
Yes.
Are we concerned for him?
Absolutely.
Do we know how much time we have?
No.
But we know this:
As long as Fonzi is willing to fight, we will fight right beside him and make sure he has comfortable as possible.
Because even if we can’t give Fonzi the amazing life we desperately wish he could have, we can make sure every moment he has left is filled with love.
He will never again wonder if someone cares.
He will never again have to fight alone.
And if his little body is tired, then we will carry the fight for him for as long as he lets us. ❤️

Fonzi is loved. Fonzi is safe. Fonzi is not alone. And we’re going to keep fighting with him for as long as he does. 🐾💔
