Your vote is your voice, and every election is an opportunity to shape the future of our community and our state. Make sure you are registered, know the important dates, make a plan to vote, and encourage your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same. When we show up, we make a difference. Together, we can keep moving Texas forward.

Happy Labor Day. God bless the labor movement and the union workers that paved the way for the rights that we enjoy today!

I'm honored to join the Suburban Houston - Fort Bend Alumnae Chapter - Delta Sigma Theta Social Action Committee for a Good Trouble Webinar to celebrate anniversary of The March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, held on August 28, 1963.

The webinar will honor the legacy of the March on Washington by reflecting on its impact and examining why the work remains unfinished. Together, we will explore today’s challenges to voting access, discuss the importance of protecting democracy, and recommit ourselves to informed advocacy, community service, and civic participation.

I will be a guest tonight on the Isiah Carey FOX 26 . Tune in at 10:30 pm
