The Kay Davis In the Community Foundation, also known as KDITC Foundation, will host the George Floyd Memorial Day Celebration!!! 💚🎪

The FREE community-centered event will honor the memory of George Floyd while continuing the movement for justice, healing and unity. Families, community leaders and supporters are invited to gather for an afternoon of remembrance, reflection and celebration. The event will feature a balloon release, music, food, vendors and appearances from elected officials Presented by: KDITC Foundation 🍔🌭🎶

🎈A balloon release will take place at the statue during the Memorial Day celebration. Davis said she hopes the statue will continue to serve as a tribute to Floyd and as a historical public bookmark, capturing a snapshot of a transformative moment in time.
