Research matters. I am always learning and provide my research when I can. When you invest in a piece, you are trusting the seller to provide accurate and honest information.

This antique necklace has Neiger attributes: green glass "faux jade" speckled beads with antique end caps, the barrel bead shape, the ornate stamped back, the fold-over hook clasp that is shaped to go with the curve of the piece, the hidden safety chain that dangles, the bezel pieces. The Neiger brothers produced unsigned pieces in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s-30s. They used components from local artisans to make Egyptian Revival and Chinoiserie motif pieces among others.

Unfortunately the Neiger brothers were captured and killed during the Holocaust. Their work lives on many years later, a testament to their beautiful craft.

Wow! Y'all showed up and showed out at the One Man's Vintage Market yesterday. So grateful for great people and great weather. Here's a sample of what I'm bringing to One Man's Vintage Market this Saturday at Mid-City in Huntsville from 11-4. I source unique vintage jewelry and don't have duplicates. Look for my sign! There will be a DJ and food trucks along with 70 other vendors. Bama doesn't play in until 6!
