Dedicated to Anne. I made this with a beautiful blue beaded necklace that has antique gold filigree caps. Her favorite color was blue and the antique gold tone book chain seemed appropriate. Once a bracelet, now a thoughtful, custom piece.

I come across some mid to late 1800s photos every once in a while. I know this mama was talking under her breath to her kids to sit still for their pic. These took a while to take. This is likely an ambrotype photo, not a more expensive, fancier daguerreotype What do you think she's saying?
