REW CREW Racing

We had two races in one very full weekend! Saturday’s race was a benefit race and Rhett placed 4th and 6th. He was jumping and standing and going fast. He actually beat a couple kids in one of his races, like on purpose 😆 we are so stinking proud of him. His e bike has been shutting off during several of his races so we have our best mechanic, Ross, working on it this week 😉 We got to see a pretty sweet mx freestyle show last night and today and watched some really talented pro and semi pro riders way past our bedtimes !!! Our favorite rider Jeremy Hand was even there and rooted for him the whole race!

Sunday’s races were full of moto drama but through it, Rhett learned to clear your head and not let yourself feel rushed. He adjusted and let it rip. Today’s races were actually for his series points. And we aren’t exactly sure what he placed since the track cut a bunch of classes. But, he rode his absolute heart out. We are thinking he took a 3rd or 4th in his 50 shaft beginner class and 1st in his e-bike class.

Porter got 1st in his stacyc 12” class but he was the only one and the whole track was watching and he didn’t get a nap and he really only went down a jump and around a turn before he called it quits 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Can’t wait to return to our favorite track soon (Crossroads MX Track that’s you guys!)

If y’all have our calendars, it says next race is a D12 race in Milan, MI on Sunday, but we haven’t decided if we can 100% make it. We will let yall know. Otherwise we’ll have a week off and get back at it in two weeks.

Dinner tables look a little different for moto dads during race season 🥴🤣 prepping all the bikes for Pymatuning Holeshot Raceway this weekend. Man these boys are spoiled ! Our Central Ohio Motocross Series race got moved to Sunday (instead of Saturday). So we’ll see you there!

Remember there is ZERO service there 🤣 so ask me all your questions ahead of time !

We officially have another REW Crew racer on the team 🙌🏼👏🏼🫶🏼💕🥴 cuteness overload for Porter. His bike is currently 341 from when Rhett raced it but next year he will be 316.

Rhett raced his absolute heart out. It was a long day and both his motos were toward the end of each heat so he was beat by the time his second heat motos rolled around. His race results:
E-bike mini took 2nd
50 shaft beginner took 3rd

Porters first race was interesting 😆 (he’s only one y’all)
I had to wake him up from his nap so he could race 🥴. He raced Stacyc 12” and took 2nd place (out of two haha). He got his very first plaque and was so happy. We’ll be working on not stopping (lol) and getting feet up on the pegs

These boys are getting better and better every day. Every practice. Every race. Rhett has learned to stop slowing down at the top of a hill- he got hit two weeks ago on the track because he was going slower, so that put a stop to that. He’s actually jumping over some of the hills now and standing up like there’s nothing to it. 

Probably some of the best riding this weekend for both Wriker boys.

We are so blessed with such a great community. My parents got to see the boys race today who were visiting from NC. We couldn’t have made it through without Gram Tam and our cousin Liam. Ps, we missed our besties who had to work instead of racing with us 👎🏼.

Today was one for the books. Torrential downpour during the races ! We had a blast. It was a hot one before and after the rain, lots of running. Zero naps were had today 😆🥴 new friends and growing community, plus mom running all over the place equals not a lot of photos today.
