Oh man, where to begin? Both Sonic Adventure games, Super Smash Bros Melee, Custom Robo, Twilight Princess, Skies of Arcadia, Billy Hatcher... I could go on.

What did I miss?

I was legitimately bummed that the remaster was digital only, so seeing Limited Run Games pick it up!

Also, the game is fully on the cartridge 😏

Physical media baby 😎 it's almost like we had a really good thing going on, then silicon valley did what it does best and found a way to turn the industry upside down and end up delivering a worse product for consumers and creatives.

Now, we just gotta get these car manufacturers to walk back to having players in new vehicles 🙌 how am I supposed to bump my Hawthorn Heights CD's in my 2025 Honda Odyssey 😡

Weakest launch, but the install base of the Switch 2 is not nearly where the Switch was when 3H and Engage dropped, so it's tough to treat it like apples to apples.

Fire Emblem: Fortunes Weave has been really fun so far. It is crazy long, but if the game is fun then that's a good thing right? I'm already about 16hrs in, and only just passed the halfway point in the first characters story.

Now, that being said I'm finally beginning to really understand the gameplay loop (not the combat, but the extras. I've had FE combat down for 20yrs at this point.), so I think the other 3 routes will end up going much quicker. But I can easily see no less than 80hrs going into this game, which is more than enough to justify a purchase lol

The one thing I don't want to see is Intelligent Systems only going for these massive narrative games. I wouldn't mind getting a smaller, tighter FE title in a few years that doesn't need to have all the bells and whistles. Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn are my gold standard, 20-30hrs 🙌

It's a real shame, because I know a LOT of people who would be absolutely over the moon if there was another Sly Cooper game.

For whatever reason, PlayStation doesn't want anything to do with their legacy IP's. Fine, sell them off to studios that will actually give them the love and attention they deserve!!!! There is obviously a market for high quality 3D platformers 🙌

I think if we were honest with ourselves, we would admit we spend way too much time on our phones lol games aren't the most productive things you could do, but it's better than flubbing for hours 😬
