The Story Behind Push Your Luck

The name Push Your Luck is more than just a name, it’s a reflection of who we are and why we’re doing this.

We’re not twenty-year-olds with nothing to lose. We’re older. We have families, kids, careers, responsibilities, mortgages, and lives that we’ve already built. At this stage in life, the easy thing would have been to let the dream of making music fade into the background and accept that maybe our opportunity had passed.

Instead, we decided to push our luck.

We’re taking a chance on ourselves at a point in life when most people would tell you to play it safe. We know the odds. We know the sacrifices. And we know there’s a lot on the line. But we also know that there’s something inside all of us that refuses to let the dream die.

Push Your Luck represents the decision to chase it anyway.

It’s about betting on yourself when the safer choice would be to walk away. It’s about proving that getting older doesn’t mean giving up on the things that still matter to you. And it’s about showing our kids that sometimes the biggest risk isn’t failing—it’s never having the courage to try.

We’re not pretending there’s no risk involved.

We’re embracing it.

We’re pushing our luck because we still believe this can become something real. We’re willing to put in the work, make the sacrifices, and see just how far we can take it.

Because maybe we’re crazy for trying to make a living playing music at this stage in our lives.

Or maybe we’re exactly the kind of people who should be doing it.

That’s what Push Your Luck means to us.
