700 acres in beautiful Northeast Oklahoma — Magic happens here. ✨ The Flying M Ranch was established in the 1940's by Bob Moore and his wife Bernadine.

The Ranch today has evolved from a fish farm and exotic animal ranch into a working ranch/wedding destination. The ranch is now run by Scott & Debby Moore, and their two sons Jacob & Cody. The Flying M is a short 30 minutes East of Tulsa. We have over 30 stocked ponds and two large beautiful picnic areas, as well as a breath taking 1800s style event venue.

Tonight the Inola’s Town Trustees unanimously voted to stand with our community. They voted to extend the moratorium to April 7, 2027, and put the question of the smelter to the voters on the April ballot.

This will only be voters inside the Inola city limits.

THANK YOU, TRUSTEES!!

Our work is not over! We must educate and register voters.

We are sharing this because we believe what is happening in Inola, Oklahoma deserves a much bigger audience. When a small Oklahoma community finds itself facing the combined pressure of powerful corporations, attorneys, government agencies and national political interests, Americans everywhere should be paying attention.Because if this can happen here, it can absolutely land in your own backyards. Then what??

This is not simply a disagreement over economic development. This is a small community of people who are being asked to accept a massive industrial project in their backyard while fighting to have their questions, concerns, public records and voices heard.

🔥And as the fight has grown, so has the pressure.

Citizens have watched meetings, public records, permitting questions, legal filings and requests for information become part of an increasingly complicated battle involving local, state and now federal interests.

Meanwhile, the people who actually live here are still asking some very basic questions:What will this mean for our families, our farms, our livestock, our water, our air and the future of our community?

We aren’t asking to be silenced.
We aren’t asking for special treatment.
We aren’t asking anyone to simply take our word for it.

We are asking for transparency, accountability and the opportunity to see the evidence for ourselves.

The public needs to understand that the people of Inola are not “overreacting.” They are paying attention. They are researching. They are asking questions. They are showing up. And they are refusing to quietly surrender their community without demanding answers.

‼️This has become far bigger than Inola‼️

Please read the information in this post. Look at the documents. Look at the facts. Don’t simply take anyone’s word for it — including ours.

Then ask yourself:
What would you do if this were happening in your hometown?

Inola didn’t ask for this fight. But we are in it now.
And we are going to keep standing up for our community, our neighbors and the place we call home.

Please share. The people of Inola deserve to be heard and the voices of many, in unity, cannot be ignored and our fire will burn brighter. Together we fight!

For everyone who has asked what to do to help, there is great info in this post from our cousins. For ease of reference we are adding contact info for Speaker Kyle Hilbert below. We have called his office to no avail. Now his office points to Tom Gann’s post for a statement 🙄 We can’t make this up guys. Apparently they agree 💯 with what Tom has said about this issue. So, feel free to share it so the word gets out there. Ps, the office staff are helpful and kind. Please be respectful when calling.
