Inquiry in Action at Barack Obama Elementary School!!💡 Educators collaborated during the Point of Inquiry training to strengthen inquiry-based practices and create meaningful learning experiences that encourage students to question, explore, and take ownership of their learning.

Our Special Programs Coordinators came together Tuesday to collaborate, plan, and prepare for what’s ahead!

The meeting focused on aligning our work with the JPS Strategic Commitments, setting meaningful S.M.A.R.T. goals, expanding recruitment and outreach, and preparing for the 5th Annual Special Programs Fair.

📚 100% Professional Development Day — Part 1: Starting with Purpose

We kicked off our 100% Professional Development Day with an engaging keynote from Dr. Dave Reese! 🎤✨

Dr. Reese challenged educators to think beyond simply following the “recipe” and focus on truly understanding the ingredients of effective teaching and learning. One message came through loud and clear:

Practice. Practice. Practice.

Today is all about sharpening our skills, strengthening our instructional practices, and taking away strategies we can put to work for our scholars. 💡📖
