๐ข Garrett Morgan Day 2025 Recap!๐ช๐ฌ๐ง๐ฆ
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this event a monumental success! ๐ Special shoutout to CSI/GEO for being an incredible host and giving the students of Minds of the Future Academy a hands-on experience in civil engineering. From witnessing concrete withstand 4000 lbs of pressure ๐ฅ to learning from Mr. Bill Price, CEO of CSI/GEO, a founding member of COMTO Jacksonville and his team, the day was full of inspiration!
After a delicious BBQ lunch ๐, students put their creativity to the test in a spaghetti tower competition, building the tallest structures using only spaghetti and mini marshmallows! ๐๐๏ธ Winners took home prizes, and those who knew their Garrett Morgan facts earned rewards too! ๐
It was a day of learning, teamwork, and fun and we canโt wait for next yearโs adventure! ๐ Thank to our amazing COMTO Jacksonville Executive Board, COMTO member, Ms. Shan Taylor and the CSI/GEO staff for having us!!
