If you couldn’t tell, one of my favorite parts of tuna fishing in Cape Cod is the whale watching! 🐋 Every day brings a new wildlife encounter, and getting to experience these animals up close and personal is pretty hard to beat!
We beat the wind and dodged the afternoon storms, but still managed to put together a limit of gag grouper with a bonus flounder to top it off! 🎣

30+ inch redfish on the flats! Now this was a welcomed surprise. I watched him stalk my lure all the way to the boat before crushing it right at the rod tip. Absolutely unreal! 🎣🔥

It’s grouper digging season, and the new Fierce V has been putting in WORK! 🎣
This reel has put some serious keepers in the box for me this season, and it’s proven itself every time.

We went fishing in the morning and found some clean water on the way back in. We made a few drops and I stuck a nice gag and hogfish to round out the trip! 🤿 🐟
Full Fight: Catching Gag Grouper! We doubled up on two keeper grouper on simultaneous drops! 25 inch and 25.5 inch fish hitting the box!

Gag Grouper, Red Grouper, Red Snapper and Mangroves! We topped this box off with some of the best fish in the Gulf!
Perfect shot on a nice hogfish! We'll be eating well tonight! 🐟

Family Trip! Capt. Reef 🐶 put us on the fish!
Not every fish we catch is a keeper! 😅 A lot of the time, we’re sorting through eager shorts before finally finding the bigger fish.
