We’re BACK! Join us on Tuesdays at School for the Arts - Lansing🌈

Get ready for a colorful, messy adventure in this playful art experience designed especially for little artists ages 18 months-3 years or 4-5 years!

In these hands-on classes, children will explore different art mediums, materials, textures, and techniques while discovering that there’s no “right” way to create. Each class offers age-appropriate art activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and self-expression through playful
process art.

Beyond the art projects, little artists will have the opportunity to explore engaging sensory stations designed to encourage hands-on discovery and imaginative play. This class is all about the process, not perfection! Expect lots of experimenting, exploring, and, of course, getting a little messy along the way!

Parent participation is required for these classes.

When: Sessions will run on Tuesdays starting September 29th- October 20th

Times:
10-10:45 AM for 18 months to 3 years old
11:15-12:00 for the 4-5 years old

Summer classes start next week and the theme is ICE CREAM! What better way to kick off June 😋

Our 2-4 year old class will be working with homemade puffy paint and sponge painting to create two “delicious” masterpieces! We’ll also have our ice cream themed sensory bin. This week we’re using Pluffle and we just know your kiddos are going love it! Dress to get messy and please note that this class requires adult participation.

Our 5-7 year old class has some of the same sensory experiences but in addition we’ll be making hanging ice cream lanterns. Again, dress to get messy and get ready for some fun! Adults are free to stay or go, whatever you’re comfy with!

Reminder: we believe the magic is in the making. Your kiddos may come up with something completely different than our examples and we encourage that! We focus on the process, not the product. We can’t wait to see what they come up with 💜
