This is the next video in the series: “Why am I running as a Republican?”

How Democrat leadership federally and locally absolutely failed us during COVID, and the personal fallout for me, my family, and my students.

Let the wildfires be a reminder…

Roger has my vote!

The vote may not make national headlines like some of the boards past issues, but it gets to the heart of the challenges we are facing at Michigan State University.

Below is the statement overwhelmingly approved by our MSU faculty. Our university needs leaders who will work to restore the public trust, provide steady leadership, and work toward a brighter future.

In November, Michigan voters have a choice, more of the same or new leadership that brings experience, transparency, and accountability to the MSU Board of Trustees.

Campaign update! Lots of good things to know for the upcoming primary.

Don’t forget the free concert on July 29th at the Wilson Estate Vineyards in Stockbridge MI! This is a fundraiser but it is free to attend. Hope to see you there!

In case you didn’t know, Senator Lindsey Graham was worth an estimated $1.5 million dollars.

The average person between 65 and 74 is worth $1.7 million dollars.

He was in office for 33 years.

He was one of the senators backing the ending of insider trading in Congress.

Check the net worth of anyone in office currently cheering or mocking his death.

Remember that Iran and Russia are also cheering his death, and they are our enemies.

That’s a lot of crossover.

If you belong to a political ideology that requires you to mock the dead, you belong to a cult of hate.

Hate corrupts the heart.

I was honored to be invited to the 7th congressional district picnic with Rep. Tom Barrett and Rep. Jim Jordan. Will get the official photo soon. But here’s a before and after. I sang the anthem to start off the official event itself, and despite being very hot outside, everyone was in great spirits.

Also had the pleasure of talking with Sen. Runestad (who is leading the charge on a datacenter moratorium for one year to get more transparency, something our district sorely needs,) met Rep. Ann Bollin who is the chair of the appropriations committee for our state, and met Hon. Michael Warren who is an Oakland County circuit court judge and is running for state Supreme Court. He gave a very stirring introduction to the pledge of allegiance. I also made a new friend in Casey Noce, a fellow singer, who is running for the House district 22. He gave a heartwarming blessing for the food

What a fantastic time at the event meeting so many people. This campaign is about the people of district 73, and meeting folks and making connections is part of being able to be more effective representation. I was very grateful the Lord made a way for me to attend.

Hope your Sunday has treated you as well! Pray for me for this heat as I’m out knocking doors. Williamston, I’ll be there all this week!

This weekend’s fundraiser event has been postponed due to illness in the cast. But good news, we will still be holding it in August at the McPherson Mansion date TBD soon.

The concert fundraiser at the Wilson Estate Vineyards will still be happening on July 29th from 5:30-9:00 with the concert happening from 6:30-7:30. Hope to see you there!

Makes one wonder…

I get why Democrats liked Graham Platner so much.
