WEEK 16!

First day of school AND another Wednesday with the Freedom Run Club family!

Tonight marks Week 16 of showing up, putting in the miles, meeting new people, and building this incredible community together.

We hope everyone had an amazing first day back at school! Whether you’re a student, teacher, parent, or just happy to have survived the back-to-school traffic we’re glad you finished the day with us.

Thank you to everyone who showed up tonight. Class is back in session… and so are the miles!

WE ARE FREEDOM RUN CLUB.

At MixMaster Joe Mobile Sound System, we believe supporting our schools means more than showing up, providing a service, and collecting a check.

We continue to offer complimentary DJ and sound services for qualifying fundraisers, including plate sales, and other events that help schools, booster clubs, and student organizations raise money.

Over the years, we have volunteered countless hours at elementary schools and citywide events because giving back to our community and our children matters.

We challenge schools and booster clubs to ask their entertainment vendors:

How are you helping us raise money instead of only taking from what our children worked hard to raise?

Ask those companies to donate their time and equipment to your next fundraiser and see who steps up.

Don’t just ask what a vendor charges. Ask what they give back.

Thank you for the opportunity to earn your business and support our students.

I had the opportunity to be out DJing in our community for a local business event at Laredo Weight Loss Clinic & Spa, with State Representative Richard Raymond and Congressman Henry Cuellar in attendance.

During the event, I was stopped for a quick photo with Congressman Cuellar, who mentioned that he really enjoyed the music selection. He shared that the event had a different feel from what he is normally accustomed to because of the music and energy in the room.

As a DJ, it’s always great to hear that the music helped create an atmosphere people noticed and enjoyed!

And I have to agree, Laredo Weight Loss Clinic & Spa put together a wonderful event with an incredible atmosphere. It was a pleasure being part of it and providing the music for that afternoon!
