Last hike for August! 7 miles of fun. We are going to a familiar trail that has plenty of rolling hills and fun beautiful scenery. Will you be joining us?
This Saturday we revisited on of our favorite go-to trails. The Laurel Hill MTB Trail in Lorton, Virginia is a trail that makes our list every year! It’s lush greenery throughout the entire trail gives you beauty at every turn. The length of this trail is 5 miles if you start tracking from the parking lot. There are sections of this trail that are very open, uncovered by trees, so on a really hot day, make sure you are properly hydrated. winter, spring, summer, this trail will always appear somewhere on our list.

Back at one of our absolute favorites this past Saturday! We hit the Laurel Hill MTB trail in Lorton, VA—a regular annual spot for us that never disappoints. Beautiful pathways, lush greenery, and 5 miles of pure views... what more could you ask for?

Check out this awesome 6 mile trail in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Though this is a little further up north than the local DMV area, it’s still a great trail connected to a vast park. You can reach this trail without actually entering into the park, as there is a parking lot on the side of the trail. We’ve been here multiple times, and it always gives us a great treat hiking around such a beautiful lake.

What a great hike this past Saturday in Gaithersburg, MD for our Spring Lake Hike! The humidity was up, but so was everyone’s spirit and energy! It’s always great to get out and be by water and we had a great group outside!
We look forward to seeing you this Saturday, August 8, for a different hiking scenery at our Grass Meadow Hike in Lorton, VA. See you then!

We have three great hikes scheduled this month for you to participate in during the month of August! Between Virginia and Maryland, we have some great trails for you to get a great hike in!
This weekend, Saturday, August 1- 3rd times a charm as we do our Summer Lake Hike in Gaithersburg, MD. It had to be rescheduled twice, with the most recent reschedule due to the smoke from the Canada wildfires.
Saturday, August 8- We tackle and favorite in Lorton, VA.
This trail is so lush and green, it makes for a nice 5 mile hike.
Saturday, August 15- we turn up the mileage just a little bit as we take a hike next to a beautiful riverbank stream in Savage, MD.

We look forward to another great hike this Saturday, July 18, in Gaithersburg, MD! This 6-mile Lake hike will be just what the doctor ordered to combat this week’s heat. Registration is open and we look forward to seeing you in the trail.
*Please note this hike was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 25, but we had to move it up a week.*
We had a wonderful hike this past weekend in McLean Virginia. The weather was great, the vibes were even better! We have one more hike this month. Saturday, July 18 head to Gaithersburg, Maryland. This Hike was originally scheduled for Saturday, July 25, but we had to make an unexpected change. Sorry for the inconvenience. We hope to see you this weekend!

We are back with our local hikes! We look forward to seeing you this Saturday, July 11, in McLean, VA. Then on July 25, we will see you in Gaithersburg, MD.
Come join us for two different 6-mile hikes. Nothing too long in the Summer heat, but enough to get your body a good summer workout. We will see you then!
