Tubos Vent Extensions

Exciting news for Tubos Vent Pipe Extensions: Tubos has been included in PBK Architects’ master specifications through BEAM Professionals, PBK’s building envelope and roof consulting division.

For our team, this is a meaningful milestone. Tubos was developed to give roofing professionals a practical solution for extending plumbing vents during roof work. Seeing it included in a major firm’s master specifications is a strong vote of confidence in that solution.

Thank you to the BEAM Professionals and PBK teams for taking the time to review Tubos. We look forward to supporting your projects and continuing to work with the architects, consultants, and contractors who make better roofing details possible. Thanks to our Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas reps, Texas Lone Star Reps!

Out of sight, out of code. 🤔

With single-ply rolls getting, bigger, wider and heavier, rolling out membrane and cutting around many vent stacks can be difficult, time consuming and more labor intensive. Instead consider the following alternative.

After installing the insulation and/or cover board, cut each vent stack to an inch to an inch and a half over the surface. Roll out the membrane covering the pipes, and then cut around each of the shortened vent stacks. Then reach for a Tubos Pipe Extension and bring each to a code compliant height. Installation is quick and easy.
