Help Wanted - Classroom Teachers. We are looking for teachers who can help us in the classroom (downtown Lexington) teaching Driver's Ed on one or more Saturdays a month (half or full day). Starting pay is $19 per hour. This does require state certification, but we can help you obtain that. Teaching experience is a plus, but not necessary. We are looking for a church or business (or even a private landowner) that would allow us to put up parallel parking barriers in the River Bluff High School area. Our office is located on West Butler St. in Lexington, but we are looking for ways to better serve River Bluff High School students. What we specifically need is a location that is to the west of RBHS. We need to be able to make a RIGHT turn out of the parking lots after school. Traffic is too congested for a left turn and we are spending too much time waiting in traffic after school. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a good place on campus for this. This could also benefit your organization or business… it could be a draw for folks wanting to parallel park and we could even put up a QR code directing students and parents to information about you. This picture is an example of what we would like to put up. We would build them, deliver them, and set them up, at no cost to you. We would need an area with approximately 50 to 75 feet of direct straight-line access to allow students adequate distance to approach the barriers at the correct angle.
