Rapid Waves

A first theremin original of mine diving more into the sounds of the Stylophone Theremin with my Hybrid Drum Setup! Was a lot of fun to bridge sections and dial the theremin's volume in better this time with the rest of the kit and bring enough energy and enthusiasm with my solo based performance!

Testing out the theremin! Loving the fact I got the antenna tuned and dialed in to where I like it so far my first try. Get better each time I play this fun experimental instrument! Demonstating the effect of hand movements throughout and how to control the pitches within proximity of the antenna. Setting the mix k**b towards the center. Using the slider below to pitch bend the sound where I liked it most be it high or low sounds and tame them down. Was fun to mess with! Was well worth buying and excited to plug this up through my Roland Micro Cube amp in my drum room soon and really get down to business!

This is the Visualizer for The Seance. The many visual cues for this one was a process to have fully realized and flow the way I wanted to match the drum performance. One of my favorites I've made in a long time with regards to the multi-layered aspects throughout. Utilizing visuals from back in 2020 or so with the floating eye became a passion project of many varieties using new filtering apps. One Lab by Ilixa has been my go to lately. Being able to create patterns within and around the visuals I create is something special and the ideas within that app are endless.

This is the Drum Performance for The Seance. Was a lot of fun to experiment with the Vic Firth Rute 505's on my Zefiro steel tongue drum and around the kit. Adding in auxiliary percussion and more sounds from the Korg Wavedrum Mini building the track as I go. Creating a whole journey within the sound and the visualizer really takes it up a notch in this one. Excited to keep being this creative and push the envelope of where my sounds/ideas can lead me to next!

This is the visualizer for 4037 (Drum Performance). Was a lot of fun to make this one in my backyard when it snowed in March. Utilizing the trees and other visuals to create the vibes of my hybrid drum playing. Kaleidoscope based movements throughout flowing in and out of frame. Enjoy!

Been awhile since i've posted on this account. Was a lot of fun to make this one utilizing visuals and artworks I worked on back in 2022. Always wanted to use them in a video and finally was able to achieve that goal! Many new videos soon to come,stay tuned!
