Here are a few photos from my last day at LEX 18. I can't help but think how lucky I am to call these wonderful coworkers my friends. What a special four years it's been.

I’ve spent way too much time with our photographers not to give them a big ole shoutout. Countless meals consumed, thousands of miles driven, severe weather, Derby Day, court, crime, and every assignment in between.

Reporters and photographers spend a LOT of time together, so thank you to all of the LEX 18 photogs for literally doing the heavy lifting these last four years📹

Thanks for driving me, lighting me, griping with me, and sometimes cleaning up after me…

Last year, chief photographer Brian Stahl and I spent an afternoon with Eli Lykins, a Lexington boy receiving a first-of-its-kind bionic hand. His story aired during Limb Loss and Limb Difference Awareness Month.

A huge thank you to Eli and his family for welcoming us into their home and trusting us with such an important part of their story.

And a shoutout to Stahl for all the incredible stories we've told together over the past four years. This one will always mean a little extra!

Bittersweet post incoming...

My time at LEX 18 is almost over.

At the end of July, I'll anchor my final newscast with this wonderful team before beginning a new chapter in Cincinnati.

I'm so excited to announce that I'll be joining WLWT as a weekend anchor!

I'll have plenty more to say about the people who made Kentucky feel like home, but I'm saving the sappy posts for my final week.

For now, I'm just feeling incredibly grateful for the last four years and all the memories that came with them.

What a ride, Kentucky! ❤️
