Sake Secret: A Japanese Sake Shop for SoCal 11/08/2022

FRIENDS! FAMILY! Only 6 days remain for my Kickstarter Campaign and I still need to make 20% of my goal before then. We are SOO close, so please read this and share widely:

What I'm raising funds for is to open the ONLY dedicated, retail Sake Shop in all of LA County, in Downtown Long Beach. As a reward for backing the Kickstarter I'm offering Sake Club Memberships, if any of you are interested in supporting, these are a gift that keeps on giving!

The only thing is, Kickstarter doesn't allow us to offer alcohol as a reward on their platform, but I can still promise you here: you get everything listed there plus lots of amazing craft Sake, snacks, and more in each bag.

For just $500 you can be a Seasonal club member, getting everything mentioned on the Kickstarter, plus quarterly bags of special-ordered, limited availability, seasonal Sake (about 8 bottles total, plus more treats in each bag, too).

Then there are three levels of MONTHLY Sake Clubs, Silver, Gold and DAIMYO.

For $1000, the Silver membership includes all of the seasonal (quarterly sake bags), as well as bags of premium Sake, snacks, and more for each of the other 8 months. (about 24 bottles of Sake total for the year)

At $5000, the Gold Membership upgrades those 8 months of Sake bags for even more high-end, rare, and hard-to-find selections. Best of all, it includes **an additional Silver membership**, which you can gift someone, or keep for yourself to get all of the Sake Club bottles each month.

Finally, the most exclusive club is the DAIMYO membership. A Daimyo is a historic title for a Japanese lord, and as such there are only 3 memberships total at this level (and just 2 remaining). You get 2 Gold memberships, each getting all of the Seasonal, Silver, and Gold Sake club bottles, and for **2 years** instead of 1, and both you and your +1 get free attendance to all events.
Don't miss your chance to become a member, join the community of Sake Lovers, and build a home for Japanese alcohol, education, and events right in your back yard.

Sake Secret: A Japanese Sake Shop for SoCal Help us grow from a successful pop-up to a new brick-and-mortar location and make Japanese sake accessible to all!

Sake Secret: A Japanese Sake Shop for SoCal 10/10/2022

While I have been brewing craft beer professionally for the last 3 years, I have also been working on a business plan for a Japanese Sake Shop. Last year I opened a semi-permanent Pop-up version inside the brewery I still work at now.

Yesterday I launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.
This is in order to raise money for the opening costs associated with moving into my own permanent space so I can step away from brewing and being someone's employee, and focus on running my own business 100%.
In lieu of taking out bank loans, I am offering Sake Club rewards like private dinners, hand crafted Sake cups, hoodies, and frisbees with my logo, etc. You can see more by clicking on the link below.

By all means, check out the video see the rewards, and if possible, donate what you can.

But... there is another 100% zero-cost thing you can do to greatly improve my chances of success, which is simply to ***share this link with your friends, extended family, and on social media***
The more people visit my page, and the more quickly, the more widely the Kickstarter algorithm will start recommending my campaign page to everyone, including random strangers.
Crowdfunding is a numbers game, so the more eyes I can get on it, the better.
Here is the link and THANK YOU for your support!

like this trio of limited unpasteurized made for Spring are almost all brewed in Winter, aged and released once their flavor profile matches the food/dishes in season at that time.

In Japan, there are actually many sub-styles to pair with all twelve months, but in general:

• Winter - little-to-no aging, higher in alcohol for a brash, warming flavor
• Spring - smooth, mellow, and versatile to pair with picnics outside
• Summer - light and refreshing to combat Japan's humidity and heat
• Fall - mature and complex with bright acidity to balance earthy autumn ingredients
